| CLASSROOM RULES 1. Be respectful towards others! 2. Walk in school! 3. Use an inside voice! 4. Complete work on time! BEHAVIOR CHART Each student will have a clothes pin attached to the chart. Each student will begin the day on best blue. When a student is �caught� being "good," the student will be asked to move his/her pin up one level. When a student is �caught� acting inappropriate, the student will be asked to move the pin down. Each level has a consequence. Perfect Purple: 3 stamps Groovy Green: 2 stamps Best Blue: 1 stamp Okay Orange: verbal warning Yucky Yellow: serve 5 minutes of recess, note home Rowdy Red: serve 10 minutes of recess, note(if problem continues: call home and/or sent to office) At the end of the day, the students will draw either a happy, an ok, or a sad face on his/her behavior chart that will be located in the homework folder. Those that have purple, green, or blue will receive their stamps (or sticker). When a student fills a row on the incentive chart, he/she will get to go to the treasure chest. If you have any comments or questions for me, write them in the column provided on the behavior sheet. This is a great way for us to communicate too! COMPLIMENT JAR When the entire class is given a compliment by an adult, styrofoam peanuts will be added to the jar. Once the jar is full, the students get to vote on a reward!!!! Rewards could be anything from no homework to an icecream party. GROUPS The students will usually sit in groups. The groups will name their group. The names will be put on the board. The groups will earn tally marks for good behavior. The group with the most tally marks at the end of the week will get a special prize. |
