A disputed penalty awarded in the fifth minute of stoppage time cost Glantraeth the victory their performance deserved having played much of the game a man short following the sending off of Rob Williams.
Determined to make up for Saturday�s below par display against Prestatyn this was a much better performance from the Bodorgan boys who had taken the lead in the eighth minute through Kevin Roberts. With time running out it looked like a resolute Glantraeth defence well marshalled by skipper Warren Gibbs had held out only for Llandudno�s Lee Thomas to convert that late penalty kick after the match official adjudged that Mike Lundstrom had been fouled.
