Alumni Plan Show of Support

Our good friend, mentor, coach & collegue, John Wagner, has been thrust under the microscope of extreme scrutiny.

For 30+ years Coach Wagner has selflessly contributing his time to the positive growth and development of each and every one of us. After giving so much to so many for so long Coach Wagner was planning on retiring within the next year or so. However, after the alleged incident was abruptly brought to the attention of the public, John has had his dignity and character come under attack. We cannot and will not stand by and allow this alleged incident to define the man that we all know he is.

On Tuesday, May 13th, we would like to invite you to show your support for Coach Wagner by joining together at the Guilderland Board of Education Meeting in the West LGI of the High School. We have requested a brief moment of the boards attention beginning at approximately 8:15pm. We will have someone speak on behalf of the Guilderland XC Family. All we ask is that you arrive by 7:30-8pm wearing some form of Guilderland XC apparel (or something red). We will congregate in the hallway of the West Building so we can enter the room together. We shouldn't be hard to miss.

John Wagner has always treated others with great compassion and respect. This is our chance to ask that the school district treat him with that same amount of respect and compassion.
