A 1995 graduate of Holy Names high school, Dollar has always been athletic. In high school she competed in basketball, softball and competitive kayaking, where she boosts of being on a team strong enough to pull a waterskier out of the water! Dollar's passion for sports led her to persue Physical Education in college at SUNY-Cortland. During her time at Cortland she proudly participated in 53 different intramural sports during each school year. "I didn't want to miss out on anything and wanted to take full advantage of my education," Dollar says.

After receiving her Master's in Outdoor Education from Cortland in May of 2001, Dollar returned to the area by teaching Physical Education 6-12 at Voorhesville High School. Dollar's passion for extra-curricular involvement led her to a great many things. Dollar coached Freshmen Girls Basketball & JV Softball and served as the Junior Class Advisor and Coach of the Master Minds team.

Dollar joined the Guilderland Central School District in 2003. Dollar was immediately called upon by the Athletic Director, who was desparately in search of a new Assistant Cross-Country Coach. Dollar admits her first reaction was, "I've done a lot of sports, but I've never done that!" Dollar went for it anyway and has never looked back! "The Coaches and the Kids welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I belonged to something really special. I was hooked!"

Coach Dollar recently moved into her first home in Albany with her cat named Autumn and four fish, all named Molly!
