| Rising Star Mariska Hargitay is definately on the rise in Hollywood. As the daughter of former Mr. Universe, Mickey Hargitay and screen legend, the late Jayne Mansfield, she is blessed with a natural talent and stunning looks. Ms. Hargitay recently won her first Golden Globe, for her role as the tough but kind-hearted Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU. Mariska has also been nominated for an Emmy award. SVU has earned this wonderful actress much fame and recognition. Her career isn't the only thing that has enjoyed sucess. Just this past August, Mariska and her SVU co-star, Peter Hermann, were married in a beautiful ceremony in Santa Monica, California. Mariska is destined for great things.
