Sunday morning, sitting down with my breakfast and my becoming cold cup of tea, I took a slurp of my tea and nearly spat it out as I read one of the most horrifying stories in the Non League Paper. One of the opening page was talking about Grays Athletic and, I was drawn to attention after seeing a player called Ellis I jumped down to that paragraph and it was Ellis Remy, the Grays Athletic boss will sign our striker who played quite a few games last season from Lincoln City where he joined in the summer.
Grays were drawn to the attention of him after Ellis scored for his on loan team Kettering Town against Hayes in a midweek 1-1 draw, the Grays manager found out that Lincoln City don’t really need him and made an offer of £5,000 for Ellis which was accepted. But there was some worry over his move when Lincoln told Grays that he can’t join them straight away, so after Ellis’s loan ends and Kettering in mid November he will join Grays Athletic, for £5,000, it kinds of make you feel sick, we had £5,000 of player there!
