| UNITED HIT BY INJURY CRISIS | ||||||||
| Manager Steve Lovell couldnt had wished for anything worse than two main first team players are injured for Saturdays league opener against Corby Town at the Pilot Field. Main midfielder Duncan McArthur is unlikely to feature in Saturdays clash after collecting a calf injury against Horsham that left him on crutches. The other main player out is midfielder Joe Cornwall who has broken his collar bone after a bad clash against Crystal Palace XI on Saturday. The clash happened just minutes before the ninety was up, over the far side by the dugouts Cornwall had the ball then the Palace defender took it off him then after getting past Cornwall he slung his arm out that hit Cornwall so hard he fell to the ground instantly, he was immediately taken off but the Palace defender got away without being punished. Stephen Ringwood is also injured for Saturdays encounter after having an operation on the ligaments in his hand today but was unlikely to appear on Saturday anyway. |
