For Thursday. [09 Aug 2003|12:51am]
On thursday (yesterday), I went to the convention center to get my preregistration badge.
The line was huge.. I was there for atleast two hours.
It was cool though because I saw some people I know; I was with Jared, I saw Super Sonic, Josh, Josh's sister, Josh's Sister's Boyfriend, and Josh's friend Chris.
I couldn't wait until Otakon..

Otakon - Friday.
Oh gord, today was awsome. So many people there. The registration line was there for atleast 5 hours.
btw, today i went as shinji (the pussy) although i didn't get my picture took. I look like shit.
I'm not going as anything tomorrow or sunday.
First thing we did was walk around. I didn't start taking pictures of people though, until a little while.
It's a shame that I didn't see anyone there. I was going to meet up with Panzer and Hiig at 1PM at the Starbucks, but I was busy with something else. I'm gonna try seeing them tomorrow though. Leeka was there supposedly, but I didn't see her. >< I wanted to buy her something. Good thing I didn't spend any money :D before hand. The worst was not seeing Kevin. I dunno what he looks like, and I dunno if he actually went as his Ragnarok Priest, I think I saw his group at the end of the day, but I didn't get a chance to get a closer examination or say anything.
I watch breakdancers... I didn't take a picture.
There was a lot of other stuff that happened in between the beginning and end, but at the end we watched Evangelion: ReDeath which was HILARIOUS. I think they were the people who did $$60,000,000,000 Funky Chicken, and the sequel: Kentucky Fried.... or something. We didn't get to watch these, but we did start the "Fanboy Beebop"...
We left early because Josh was having issues with his sister; who was our ride.
I didn't buy anything :-/ I dunno what to get. I want to get a wallscroll (nearly $17, those bitches), possibly a plush, and a model or action figure. I saw a Asuka action figure which came with separate hands and stuff for $14, but I didn't bother with that either.
I will upload pics and stuff later. Well, I gotta go to sleep since I'm hella deprived of it. My eyes burn like a mofo. Peace.

Saturday is best. It has most people, thus most cosplay. But I do have to say that friday did have more of the better showings.
I actually forgot all the stuff that happened... Although I did get a lot of pictures.
There was another breakdance circle thing. I went in; popped, 6-step, then freeze. But then I landed all messed up and hurt my knee, everyone was like "Oooooooooooh" but the bad one, but the good one. There was also the "otaku rave" which is phat. I liked it especially since everyone around is otaku and it's a drug-free environment :-)

Otakun Sunday's suck ass. Today was short; we left at 3pm.
We watched Otaku no Video, which was great. We also did a lot of standing around. I got one picture.
I bought nothing throughout this whole otakon. But my friend jared did manage to buy two hentai movies without being carded. He rocks.
