His repertoire of goals and tricks is vast and has brought him success at club level, including Dutch championship medals and a Champions' League winners medal. He is also the Nigerian national team captain and won an Olympic Gold medal in 1996 after recovering from a life-threatening heart ailment. Moved from Ajax to Inter Milan in 1996 and joined Arsenal for �4.5million in 1999 Made his debut in the FA Cup against Sheffield United in February of that year and became a fans favourite with a magnificent hat-trick against London rivals Chelsea. Can play up front or in a deeper role, but in either case his ability to create chances for others is as eye-catching as the goals he gets himself.
