The site

It all started one boring Sunday evening, when Angela and Lucinda had a brilliant idea: "Lets make a joint site for our matey bobs!" So the two put their noggins together, came up with plenty of ideas, and thus began giveusdiamonds...


The jobs are as follows:
Angela- Content goddess + brilliant ideas generator
Lu- Html goddess + uber-designer
Although we both have a say in pretty much everything

The techie details: Programmes used: MS Frontpage, Notepad, MS Paint, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, geocities

As we approached our 1000 visitors mark... we pondered giveusdiamonds, and decide to re-design the layout. Setting out for a swingin' sixties theme, but finding this too challenging (as no goddamn decent backgrounds exist and the ones we found really screwed with your head) we decide to do a cute-punkified-animals theme (to see the animals we gothed up, go to our gallery of random coolness - coming soon) but, alas, this too failed due to us liking the old layout better anyway. So we just changed the layout to make it easier for all the dumbasses out there that cant work out the navigation... and just generally more universal for anyone to use.

Furthermore, in the long summer of 2004, Lucinda and Angela began a long quest to remake the layout of the site, as our navigation still wasn't suitable for those dumbasses =p So Lu began making very pretty arty green and pink layouts, which were... just too pretty. However, together we played around with the pretty layouts until we inverted it, creating a rather edgy look which is what you see today my friends! We very much liked the new, less-tacky layout which was finished just in time to advertise lots at the almighty Reading fest with our sexy beast stickers. (Which will one day be collecters items!).

All graphics and content (except for the 'funny stuff' section) are copyright to us, so don't even think about being a copycat or else you will perish...PERISH in a sea of a thousand beginner violinists wetells you!!! That is all.

We've had, and are having, so much fun creating this site and much time and effort has gone into it, so if you would be so kind as to leave a nice little message in our guestbook and any comments or suggestions, we would be most grateful, ta very much! =) *flutters eyelashes*
