Dream Future
This is our we-wish future (Angela, Lucinda, Niki and Vikki)
though we know it won't come true due to the fact that it's not
likely we'll go to the same universities and therefore won't be
near to each other. A deep convo about the future almost had us
in tears at one point actually (yes yes, how sad, we know). We
were talking about the day that we'd go to different unis and
drift apart because we'd be focusing on making friends there. It's
sad but it's generally what happens. So we decided we should do
something like a kind of dedication to our friends and this site
is it!
Anyway, back to the dream future...
The four of us would have a cosy, flat together and we'd have one of those big, fluffy, ginger, really cute dogs called Mugwuffin. We'd save up money and every 2 months, Mugwuffin would be taken to a
grooming parlour.
Once a week us girlies would have a takeaway and on the other
days we'd have a cooking rota where Angela would cook pie...
microwave pie, Niki would cook pasta, Vikki would do toast and
well, we don't trust Lucinda in the kitchen cos she'd burn it down so she could do salad.
Such healthy young ladies we'd be ;). There would be only one in
the kitchen at a time because we've tried to cook together before,
and it just didnt work. However, Pancake Day and other cake-baking
sessions would be a group thing.
Our bedrooms would be designed by ourselves and they'd reflect our personalities. The only lights in the house will be fairy lights, neon lights and UV lights.
We'd have girly nights in; where we'd have pampering sessions
with a film or let's-get-drunk sessions, girly nights out;
clubbing, to a restaurant or cinema and days out; shopping in
Bluewater, London or go to a theme park. Also we'll have 60s nights where the house will be transformed into Austin Powers' Shagpad.There'd be a white Peace room just for chilling out and we'd have a universal wardrobe meaning we get to share each others stuff. We'd go out on the town at night in our shiny, red convertible with the roof down and we'd honk at everyone and be silly =)
Our actual apartment will be designed and decorated by us (of course).
The living room will have loads of sparkly fairy lights everywhere and draped around the mirrors (and in the hall). (We'd also have fairy lights in our bedrooms and pink, heart-shaped chairs by our vanity desks). In the living room there'd be fluffy carpets, beanbags and stuff too! One of the walls will be a mahusive memory board where we can stick stuff that reminds us of 'the good times' such as photos, cinema tickets and sentimental stuff. We'd make our own cushions just to be original and the sofa will be a big L-shaped one, (like the one we sat on in Marks & Sparks, but in cream/beige) so that many people can fit on the sofa crowded round our huge semi-cinema sized TV screen. We are going to have the best dang sound system money can buy with super-dooper sub woofers to make the neighbours complain loads until they go deaf or lose their voices. Whichever comes first.
The dining room will have Niki's current dining room chairs but pink and black stripey and we'll have dangly glittery stars (like the current ones in Lu's dining room) hanging from the ceiling so we can eat beneath the stars. We shall also have a spinny table (Lazy Susan/Suzy/Sally - we can't remember which) so Niki doesnt have to ask Vikki to pass the chicken... we're evil, Niki won't eat chicken because Niki is a carrot... sorry, "vegetarian".
The bathroom is going to have a super-whirly-massagy-bubble-jet bathtub where we can relax and unwind with our aromatherapic scented candles (lucinda will have plastic pretend ones so she doesnt burn her precious hair) softly burning and we'd have a huge mirror too!
Well as we said, it'll never happen, but letting your imagination run loose isn't exactly a bad thing!
