Joystick & Controls Construction |

The Joystick is taken coverted from a "pump-handle" style Air Command gyrocopter. |

The rotor head is a Benson/Brock type. |

The lower pivot mounts are installed after the yoke has been measured for proper clearance. |

The control stick is shortened to allow ease of movement and to not hit any obstructions. |
Holes are then cut in the fuselage to allow for the push-pull tubes. |

The push-pull tubes are attached to the control yoke. |
Clearance is checked for free movement and no binding or rubbing. |

A bell-crank/reverser makes all movements from the control stick correspond to the correct movements of the rotohead. |
All components are "pinned" in place to check for freedom-of-movement and to fine adjust the travel to the proper degrees. |
