Our investigation began on the second floor where we were taken up the stairs to the attic space, which I mentioned earlier is now used as an office. There is a main staircase and banister that stretches the entire height of the building, which is four floors.

Corrie snapped this picture as we travelled the stairs to the attic and we were surprised to find many orbs creeping up the stairs behind us. Truthfully surprised would probably not be the right word, excited would be more acurate. I think each of us from the moment we entered the house had the feeling that we were being watched, almost as if someone was always over your shoulder. As we conducted our hunt of the attic Heather explained to us that when the house was being renovated two carpenters witnessed a broom fall onto the floor only to be picked up by a pair of unseen hands and set back into place against the bar. After a few minutes we were then left alone in the attic to continue our hunt. As we were videotaping and taking pictures, Corrie and Dana at the exact same instance heard a piano begin to play. Three sharp loud cords. Later on when we asked the owner she was amazed. "There is no piano in the entire building," she said.
What we found really interesting is that while we where investigating, Sarah choose to stay around the stairs. I think there are two different ways you can look at this. Imagine (as horrible as this sounds) if you were going to kill yourself...the long walk up the stairs sort of represents her walk of death. Perhaps she haunts this place wishing she could have made another decision in life. The fact that Heather hear's Sarah walking the stairs quite often is another point...there is always the possibility that Sarah is re-living that moment in history over and over. All of us here at the Girly Ghostbusters truly believe that Sarah is still haunting The Looking Glass today. Maybe it is because this was a place that held a wonderful memory for her or perhaps it was a place of deep sorrow. No one will truly know, but one thing is for certain. Sarah Simpson is a ghost that sure likes to be noticed. Special Thanks to: Rob, Michael, Mom and Heather.
We visited the basement, the parlor, the area that would have been used as a library and found nothing. The activity seemed to be centered around the stairs leading to the attic. Corrie snapped a few pictures and again an orb was captured travelling the stairs towards the attic. As we headed down a dark hallway towards the bathroom Dana and Jen began to hear a very quiet noise that sounded a lot like a woman crying. The bar was closed and there was no one other than us and a few employees in the building, and there was definitely no one in the women's bathroom but as we kept our cameras rolling we could still hear the sound of a woman sobbing. Later when we went through the pictures we were surprised to find a huge orb floating in front of a mirror. I know what your thinking...its a mirror...hello? reflections...but we thought it might be interesting to post the pic and have you guys tell us what you think! So send us an email and let us know.
