| Saturday, May 22, 2004 38th Week 2 weeks to go! Well, we are getting excited and anxious. At our last gyno visit, I was checked for dilation, but nope, none. He did feel the baby's head and said that he did indeed drop, so that was good---it wasn't my complete imagination... The reason he checked was because I have felt a lot of pressure (some burning too) down there and I'm officially waddling around. I've been having really strong Braxton Hicks since last Sunday during the Culver visit. Meggan and I lay in bed and timed them, but alas, they were irregular and obviously false labor. The squirming going in inside my belly is very very uncomfortable--lots of elbows, knees, and feet going every which way... *********** We finished our birth classes last week and got a little diploma. That was neat. ****** Swelling has returned, and my left leg feels pinched and out of socket. I'm getting nervous about the delivery... So many thoughts going through my head. Can't concentrate on normal activities, but try to take my mind off the impending delivery and major life change by attempting to read non-baby books and watch bad reality shows....oh and start blogging. ******** Did I mention school (aka work) is over with for the year? I had to make six phone calls to seniors who didn't graduate. That was loads of fun, let me tell you. ********** What is going on at week 38... last next |
