CHARLOTTETOWN - Feeling has just returned to the butts of 105 Walthen Drive, following a full-on 6-hour Lord of the Rings marathon Tuesday.
"Aside from the lower-back pain, there was this unusual numbing, pins and needles feeling..." said Antler, immediately following the second installment. "After all that sitting and watching and shifting, I realized LOTR is not really mind-over-matter, but mind-over-behind. Actually... I kinda liked it."
Antler, experiencing LOTR for the first time, put forward the suggestion after taking in The Fellowship of the Ring the week previous on CBC Television. Roommate Sarah Tyrrell, could not have been more on-side.
"I can only get her to watch Death to Smoochy so many times," admitted Tyrrell just before the LOTR-athon began. "I was psyched that she would agree to watch not one, but both of the subsequent films [The Two Towers and The Return of the King]."
Recent "disruptions" at the girls' workplace have resulted in movies, web building and laundry to date.
