GIRL MEMBER INFORMATION
What is expected of me as a member of Troop 912?
We expect you to show up for meetings on time and to treat the leaders and other troop members with respect, and as you would like to be treated by them.  We WILL NOT tolerate mouthiness, disrespect or any troop member being mean to another troop member ("Be a sister to every Girl Scout").  If necessary, you will receive a verbal warning from one of the leaders.  If you receive three verbal warnings in one meeting, your parents will be called to pick you up.  (On the positive side, we have never had to do this!)

Please pull out your communication binders from last year.  It is your responsibility to share information with your parents either immediately when you get home from the meeting, or by the next day, so they are aware of upcoming events and needs for supplies or work to be completed by you at home.
WE DO NOT MAKE REMINDER PHONE CALLS ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE ON THE PAPERS SENT HOME IN YOUR FOLDERS.

Bring your binder and all program materials  to every meeting.  Put them in a spot at home that will be easy for you to remember to review it with your parents and bring it back to the meeting.  Most girls find it is easiest to remember their binder if they keep it in their troop bookbag, along with their "office" supplies.

We like to see all of you in Girl Scout attire!  Please wear your cookie t-shirts or other Girl Scout apparel to the meetings.

Dues are $5 per month.  Remember to write your
FULL name, the date, and the amount that is inside the envelope on the front of your dues envelope.

Remember that since we are only meeting monthly now, you are going to have to be very self-directed with any badge or focus workbook materials you choose to complete.  We are here at this point more as advisors.  We are always available to help you with anything you are having difficulty with, though, so don't hesitate to call in between meetings!

Most important of all, try not to miss meetings; but we understand that since you are all getting older, your schedules are busy with school and sports activities.  We do ask if you need to miss a meeting you phone Jen to let her know ahead of time and phone afterwards to see what you missed.

If you ever have a question or something that is bothering you, please come and talk to us right away.  We will be happy to listen to you because we care about you and respect you as an individual.
