| February went by very quickly. We made Valentine crafts for our special valentine friends. We learned a few things about the country of England for Thinking Day and learned a Girl Guide song called "Thunderation". We taught other girl scouts the song at our Service Unit Thinking Day Celebration. We had a good start to our Cookie Sale this year. Our initial troop order of Cookies was 847 boxes which was better than last year by almost 200 boxes. In March, the girls should be delivering their cookies and collecting payment. Remember, that since we will be doing Cookie shops between March 6th-22nd, the girls can still take orders and have them filled at our Cookie Shop locations, please let Grace know in advance if you have an order to fill so that she can add the extra boxes to our order for that weekend. If you have not signed up to do a Cookie Shop yet with your daughter, please contact Grace or Lisa to make arrangements to attend at least one shop. Cookie Money will be due to Grace no later than March 22nd. Our 2nd annual Mystery Trip will be coming up in April . Lisa will send out an email the first week of March with all of the details. This years trip will be a Mother Daughter Trip Please look for the email. The girls will be deciding if we will be donating any of our Cookie Money again this year to a special cause. One of our options is to assist with "Operation Afghanistan". Once the girls decide, I will let everyone know their decision. If you have any personal donations you would like to make to the cause, please bring them to our March 2nd meeting. |
