I hope that everyone had a great holiday and are ready to begin a brand New Year, I know Sharon and I are ready for a fun filled 2009 with the girls!
In December, we attended Winterfest and the girls had a great time playing games, doing various crafts and shopping. The Brownies completed their "Science Wonders" Try-It and the Juniors completed their "Camera Shots" badge.
We finished 2008 with a Holiday Celebration where the girls exchanged gifts with their Secret Pals. We made Holiday stockings and had a Chocolate Fondue Party.
As we begin 2009, the Brownies and Juniors will both begin earning their "Making Music" Try-It and "Making Music" badge.
It is Cookie Time again! Grace (Senna's Mom) has graciously volunteered to be our Cookie Chair again. Thank you so uch Grace for volunteering your time to the troop! She will be conducting a training session at our next meeting on Jan. 12th. Please plan on attending the training session at approximately 7:50 p.m. for details on the sale.
We will talk with each girl and have them decide on a Cookie goal for this year's sale. If you would like to discuss your daughter's cookie goal with her ahead of time, please plan on doing so prior to our next meeting. Since the Cookie sale begins on Jan. 9th, Lisa will email everyone an electronic cookie form if you want to begin taking orders prior to our meeting on Jan. 12th.
