Brielle's Africa Page

ccbalwelcome2.gif

I am learning about Africa at school. I have learned lots of things about Africa. A boy in my class has parents that are from Africa. Miss Lackey taught us to speak some languages. We have to make a postcard about Africa for my homework. Here is the front of my postcard while I was drawing and coloring it. Thanks for seeing it.

My teacher said we had to draw it in pencil first. So this is me adding some leaves before I color it. Well, I had already colored the sky.

I finally got to color the leaves and I loved the color green that I used.

I'm finishing the sand now.

Now I am finished. But we still have to take a picture of just the postcard.

Finally I finished it. I think I did a good job!

Brielle finally finished her postcard and we even found a Tanzania (in Africa) STAMP!!!!! She did a great job! Here is what she wrote:
Dear Jeffrey, (a friend from preschool)
I am in Egypt and it is so hot. Yesterday, I rode a camel to see the pyramids. I saw the Sphynx too. Today, I saw King Tuts tomb. He was 9 when he was king. I am having fun. Tomorrow we will go to Kenya.
Love, Brielle
