| TREFOIL NAME TAGS Cut a trefoil shape out of green construction paper. Put two holes in the top and string yarn through the hole. For very young girls, write their name on the tag and have the girls decorate the tag (glitter or other enhancement can be used). For girls who can write their names, have them write their own name and then decorate. If you collect them at the end of the meeting and use them for several weeks, girls will get to know one another quicker. |

| BARNYARD SCRAMBLE Give each girl the name of an animal on a slip of paper (or a picture, especially for young girls who cannot read yet). Make sure there are at least two of each animal. On the signal, girls must make the sound that their animals make and try to find other girls with the same animal. This is a grat way to break the ice. |
| CHARADE BOX Have a box prepared with simple ideas to act out written on a slip of paper. These may be done alone or with a buddy. Add to these or change them often if you find that the girls like this activity. Charades can be as simple or complex as the girls are ready for; e.g. setting the table, bowling, drinking smoething you like, eating corn on the cob, etc. |
