On December 10, 2008, troop 60656 went to Spot Pizza, on Hamilton Avenue in Palo Alto, next to Stanford University. The store co-owner, Peggy, gave us a tour of the pizza place behind the scenes. We were all very interested in the way food is stored and the different methods that can be used to make pizza. It was interesting how Spot staff prepared enough pizza for the Stanford football team ahead of time. We got a complete tour of the pizza kitchen and we all got to make our personal pizzas and got to eat them. We all enjoyed the pizza thoroughly and agreed that Spot Pizza is delicious. |
