In our committees, we had small groups of 5-6 girls, and we worked together to organize the following Badges:
-Jeweler
-Pet Care
-Winter Sports
Each committee had three sections of a meeting to do some of their requirements. Also, each had an adult that worked with them. We had three roles to play:
-President
-Secretary
-Everyone else in the committee
At our cookie sorting volunteer event, about half the girls from our troop went over to where the cookie prizes were being held and started work right away! They sorted the prizes for our service unit and had a fun time hanging around in cardboard boxes afterwards.
At The Literacy Bags Project we went over to our school and were sorted into groups to do the different stations. There were Snack, Games, Decorating Bags, and Putting Bags Together. We also helped with the Bownies/Daisies that were there.
Also, some girls in our troop went to Yosemite, where we skied, sledded, and hiked. It was a blast!
