Cadette Scouts 2007-2008
This year we mainly worked on our Silver Award prerequisites and the final planning for our Southern California Trip, which was during the summer of 2008.

As far as Silver Award work,  we attended the Gold and Silver Up All Night, which was a ton of fun but also led us through about ten hours of prerequisites!  We also went to a 4B's workshop put on by our council and spent fifteen hours each earning the Silver Leadership Award.   In the end we decided that our project would be making a state fair booth for Santa Clara County for the 2009 California State Fair.

This year we also earned the Couch Potato and the Creative Cooking badges.  Some girls attended a babysitting workshop and some joined a service unit trip to Yosemite in the Winter.

But our main event of the year was our Southern California trip, which all seven of our active members attended. For a week we stayed in a private house near the beach. We visited many amusement parks and attractions and also spent a couple days on the beach. Of course, we spent the whole week learning how to work together as a stong, efficient team.
