The Three T's: Talk
   Read:  Genesis 35:3
                 2 Samuel 22:7
                 Psalm 4:2-3
                 Proverbs 15:29

"Cast your cares on God, for God cares for you."  The Bible is full of verses saying, "Hey!  You Christians down there, talk to me!"  God wants us to talk to Him....which brings us to the second T....talk.
Some of my friends have teased me when I told them that I pray about every little thing....and I mean EVERY LITTLE THING.  Like for example, I'll be getting ready in the morning and I can't get my hair french braided just right and I start to get really  irritated and ideas of shaving all my hair off start flooding into my head, so I clamp my hands togeather and slam my eyes shut and cry out, "God!  My hair is REALLY getting irritating this morning!  Please give me Your peace and patience...and let it come out right this time!  Amen!"  Well, right away I feel better, which is awesome, so I braid my hair again and...woah....it's like perfect!  Thank you God!  Now, when I told one of my friends this story, he was like, "God doesn't have time to listen to every little petty thing in your life.  You shouldn't bother Him with that stuff."  But God WANTS you to tell Him all that "unimportant" stuff...He wants to be a part of every little nook and crany of your life.  He wants you to be honest with Him, to pour out every little thing to Him in prayer.  If you're happy, rejoice!  Tell Him!  If you're upset, cry out to Him in despair!  If you mad, ask for peace.  If you're having guy trouble, ask for guidance...and listen to His answer, be still and hear Him speak.  He may not answer right away, but He DOES care, and He IS listening.  Sometimes what seems like no answer is acctually an answer, and remember, He will answer on His own time, not yours.
Praying is a big part of every Christian walk...just think, when your friends with a human, you like to talk to them and tell them the stories of your day.  Your friendly chit chat builds your friendship stronger.  You're pouring yourself out to that person.  If you stop communicating, your friendship dies.  It's the same thing with God...you've gotta talk to Him like He's your best friend...cause He wants to be!  He loves you...spill your guts to Him!  If you're guilty  because you've done something wrong...don't try to hide it by keeping it from Him...He already knows, so confess and ask for forgiveness and ask for strength to change...He'll help you out.
So, as a review, what was the first T?  Take....take God with you everywhere you go.  And the second T?  Talk...talk to God...He's listenin!
"Prayer does one of two things:  It either frees us from the trouble we fear or gives us the strength and courage to meet the trouble when it comes."
"Let us pray, let us pray, everywhere and every way...every moment of the day, it is the right time, for the Father above, He is listening in love, and He wants to answer us, so let us pray!"
"Imagine talking to a guy who loves you so much He died for you, and went to Hell and back in your place... that's what talking with Jesus is like...He did that for you..."
