| Easter Kisses |
| As we walk hand in hand across the soft springtime grass, The sun kissing my bare shoulders and dancing on your cheeks, Love is reborn. Like new flowers sprung forth from the earth. The birds darting above sing a sweet song of things so new, so alive. The breeze teasingly brushes the tangle of curls off my face, As the sent of blossoms drifts lazily along in the warm air. We stop by a cool stream and you smile gently, Our eyes lock, and in a short gaze our souls meet in a quiet place, And there they share secrets we don't even know. In a sweet lover's embrace, your soft lips brush mine. Our hearts soar to the heavens and for a moment, We are wrapped up in each other, our beings entwined. Young love, new and full of fresh excitement and joy, Is ours to cherish, to hold dear. The Keeper of the stars, Maker of the earth, brought our hearts together, And may only He who joined us set us apart (wouldn't ya know it He did...) |
