and Dawson’s Creek
I remember my friends and I
Comparing ourselves to them
Our friendship
And
Our dreams
And I wonder
What that says about us
Our Generation
Growing up through television
Comparing and seeing ourselves
On television
I wonder
What I
What we
Would do
If we couldn’t live
Couldn’t solve our lives
Through TV

If my children will live their lives
