and I don't know
one stranger...
waiting for your bestfriend to come along, so why not be a bestfriend
to everybody willing to love back. And as a mother of 5, now 2 adult
children, I think it is about time for me and some of my
bestfriends to schedule a girlfriend party calendar.
But hold on... I am a sinner, saved by God's good grace,
I'm not some "old-girl-gone wild",
I'm just a mediocre Black Christian woman
out to have a little fun with my bestfriends and I ain't about
judging your boundaries to fun...
You be you, I'll be me and I bet we can still hang tough together.
"Girlfriend-Party" are females. From time to time, we
invite husbands and dates and even children...
But for the most part, the members of this here
"Girlfriend-Party" are soulfully sweet & loving Black Women
of all ages and descriptions.
We party together, we talk & share good ideas & information, some of us pray together, we cheer for one another, we encourage each other,
we run and walk together, we eat, drink and be merry, together
whenever we find time to do so.
But we don't rag on each other,
we don't "run-go-tell-that" either,
we create a safe-place for each other
and affirm each other,
cause this is the 21st century and the face of the Black Woman
is changing...
This page has been developed
just to keep us connected and post our outtings,
no obligations and all are welcomed.
This ain't nothing but a "Girlfriend-Party"
we don't mean no one no harm and if at all possible,
we might bring a little joy to one another,
cause life is just too short to go it alone.
