| In the first episode of Inuyasha we see a miko named Kikyou she has just shot a hanyou (half human/half demon) named Inuyasha (the demon half was dog demon) because he stole a jewel called the Shikon No Tama. The arrow sealed Inuyasha to a tree. Afterwards Kikyou died from an injury she had recieved. She was cremated with the Shikon No Tama inorder to take it out of the world. Then we go to present time Japan. We see a gril named Kagome and her grand father. Her grandfather was telling her about the Shikon No Tama. Kagome's little brother Souta was afraid because their cat Bouyo was in a little temple where a forbidden well was kept. Kagome went into the temple and found Bouyo, but before she could leave the temple a giant youki (demon) came out of the well and pulled Kagome in. Kagome was trying to resist the youki when a powerful light came from her a shot the youki away. When Kagome came up from the well she was in a diffrent time period. She got out of the well and walked around. She saw Inuyasha sealed to the tree. Kagome was the only person who release Inuyasha because she was the recarnation of Kikyou. Kagome also had the Shikon No Tama inside of her body. Kagome pulled the arrow out from Inuyasha. It has been 50 years since Inuyasha was sealed to the tree and Kikyou died. Later the youki from the well attacked her and knocked the Shikon No Tama out of her body. A bird youki found Kagome and could scence the Shikon No Tama. It attacked her and took the Shikon No Tama. Then the bird youki swalloded the Shikon No Tama whole. The youki was about to kill Kagome but Inuyasha cut it into little pieces (missing the Shikon No Tama by the way) but with the power of the Shikon No Tama it pulled its self back together. Kagome grabbed its foot and put it on her arrow and shoot it at the flying youki. It hit the bird youki and while it hit the youki the arrow shattered the Shikon No Tama into little pieces and the pieces flew off in all diffrent diractions. Kagome and Inuyasha went off to find the Shikon No Tama's pieces and put it back together. Along the way they make new friends like the Fox youki Shippo, Sango the Youki Exterminator, Miruko the Deliquent Priest, and Kouga the wolf youki, as well as new enemies. |
