 "William Francis Little married Elisabeth Shoemaker of Preemption and had two children, Ida E., born Feb. 9, 1860 and Henry Edwin, born Oct. 20, 1861. William., the father, was wounded in the Civil War at the battle of Prairie Grove, Ark., Dec. 7, 1872 (1862 ) and died Dec. 10. Many years afterward his body was brought back and interred in the Preemption Cemetary. Henry Edwin, his son, was reared in his grandfather's home. The Mother, with Henry Edwin and sister Ida, stayed in the David Little home until she remarried. Henry Edwin remained at the home while Ida went with her mother."

 Henry E. Little, white male, age 8. b. IL
 These are widow and children of William Francis Little, grandchildren of David and Elizabeth Wiltshire Little.

 "Sarah Eleanor Little married David Andrew Clarke in 1864 and died in childbirth, June 15, 1865, four days after her baby, Henry F. Clarke was born. The baby died August 11, 1865."

 Her husband, was remarried to Sarah's cousin, Margaret LITTLE.

 Sneider family arrived in Charles Town Dec 1744 in Capt. Robert Brown's ship "St. Andrew" after a nine month trip from Germany. Jacob Sneider arrived with his wife, Mary, and two children, Willia, his eldest son and Rosena, a daughter. His son Jacob was born on Richland Co., SC. Council Journal, Dec 1744 to Dec 1745, vol. C.O. 5/451. pg 33 Jacob (second generation) removed to St. Matthews Parish, now Calhoun Co., Jacob Snider, 200a. preceipt 29 Sept 1772. Certified 13 Oct. 1772, plats V19, p569
