 Lived in Washington County, Virginia, ca. 1790-1816. (Part changed to Scott County in 1814) Moved to Boone County Missouri after 1816.

 Note: Washington County was formed in 1777 from Fincastle County.


 By deed dated 6 September 1809, Hampton Wade and wife Sarah, widow and relict of Thomas Smith, deceased of Halifax County, Virginia....conveyed property to John Russell. (Washington County Deeds; B247) {Note: Record should be examined to determine Russell's location.}

 Isaac Ballengee, according to family tradition, was a French Patriot serving with Lafayette in the American Revolution. He was on guard duty in Philadelphia when the Declaration of Independence was signed.
 After the war, he moved his family to North Carolina. In 1780, they moved to the mouth of the Greenbriar River. (Now Hinton, Monroe, WVA)

Watch therefore for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come S Matt XXIV:12 Also the above named Francis Little Died March 21st. 1861 aged 77 years He officiated as Parish Clerk in this Church for 39 yrs.
