After qualifying fewer athletes to sectionals than in recent memory, the Northwest Lions track team qualified more events for state than in recent memory.  In a dramatic turn around from conference, the Lions have had a strong state series and qualifed three of the remaining four events to state!  Chris Chiles finished 3rd in the pole vault going 13'0", Tyler Amick blasted through in 4th in the 800, and Zach Kassman made it easily finishing 2nd in the two mile.  We will be going to Jefferson City Thursday afternoon and competing in events both Friday and Saturday.  More details later in the week.  It has been a great day and one that showed the true heart of Northwest Track and Field!
