The overall team score wasn't impressive, but as always the Patriot Classic brought out the best in the Lions.  Chadd Lammert started things off by throwing a career best in the shot put 44'9", Sean Thuston ran PR's in both hurdle races 16.8 in the 110's and 42'6 in the 300 hurdles.  Zach Kassman ran his personal best in the 3200 meter with a 9:57 and Chris Chiles tied his best with a 12'6" in pole vault.  The junior Varsity also had some top performances.  Dennis Miner PRed in the disc and shot going 39'.  Jake Scheidl ran 39' hurdles for the first time and pocketed a 17.2 and also ran 42.6 in the 300 hurdles.  Chad Callahan registered a 10:52 in the two mile, a 16 second PR!

The Conference Meet will be this coming Saturday at Lindbergh and Districts are the following Saturday at Jackson High School.  Things are winding down fast for the Lions!
