Summer is going well!  I am teaching summer school again (9 years in a row) and I am in room 128.  Missing track uniforms are beginning to trickle in as grades are withheld.  I still need uniforms from the state qualifiers.  Shannon is just about ready to pop!  The birth is scheduled for June 28th and visitors are going to be welcome (St. Anthony's).  Some of the runners are getting off to a slow start this summer.  This has to end; we have to get big numbers this summer.  There is no way to make up for a lack of off-season training once the season begins.  It is not too late to get going however.  The first fun run of the summer is next Tuesday.  Call your friends and get a big crowd to Northwest Valley at 6:30 on the 13th!  I will have a special BBQ at my brand new house at the end of the summer and the only way to get invited is to log 300 miles if you are a boy and 200 miles if you are a girl!  I EXPECT at least 20 people to qualify!
