It was a fun and memorable weekend for the Northwest runners.  Senior speeches last night were very long, and very worth it.  The last speech ended at 11:25, but the next morning nobody looked worse for the wear.  The team had many medal winners and brought home a couple of trophies!  The Varsity boys finished 2nd, JV boys 4th and Freshmen boys 1st.  The Varsity girls finished 6th, and JV girls 2nd!  A number of runners came VERY close to winning races.  Chad Callanhan was a close 2nd, Annie James was 2nd, and Zach Kassman was 3rd after a short cat nap a few feet from the finish line!  Over all a GREAT day.  Pictures coming soon!
