It was a great day to race and the runners did well.  It was difficult to judge this years against last years because the course was around 80 meters longer for each runner.  Over all everyone had a nice day.  The boys finished 3rd out of 5 competiting schools and 3rd out of 19 competiting relay teams.  Zach Kassman had the best time for the boys team.   Megan Bailey had the girls fastest time as they were sixth out of seven but improved over last year team time... on a longer course!  On both the boys and girls side this is a tough meet with cross country powerhouses Marquette and Eureka running.  On the boys side you add in state contender CBC and Ladue a team that is competiting for the state title in 3A every year, and this was a challenging way to begin the year.  As Coach House says, however, you have to run against good competition to get better!  GREAT START!
