Coach's Notes
Information on the Northwest Track and Cross Country Teams
HOT, HOT, HOT

We have to be careful running in these hot temperatures!  This is the time of year that early morning runs are the best idea.  Evening runs are good, but be careful not to run after dark and make sure you are wearing reflective clothing if you do.  Hydration is more important than ever right now.  Eat right, get sleep, and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.  Most importantly if you feel bad on a run ... stop.  At the fun run we had a small crowd due to the heat and waited until we were fairly sure it was below 90 degrees before we ran.  It was still brutal.

Congratulations to Derek Milliot on winning this weeks mileage frisby with 35 miles between Thursday and Tuesday.  Zach and Chad both had 28!  Who will be next week's winner?
