It was a great day in Cape Girardeau for the Lions Cross Country team. Running a course that had added hay bales in order to slow it down the Lions ran faster than they have all season. The girls brought home two first place trophies and the Varsity boys proved that they could defeat district rivals Jackson, Fox, and Cape Central. The team is beginning to make the big strides that we expect. We have a shot to line up against some of the top competition in the area Friday at Fox.
