Sarah (Sis) Adcock my grandmother  had had a stroke and was living with us in 
Social Circle when she had another stroke and died. I was only 6 yrs old but I 
remember Daddy and I had gone to Social  Circle in the mule and wagon to pick 
up some things when I saw a man in a buggy flying down the road toward us and 
told daddy that his mother had died. That  made quite an impression of a 6  year
