History: The first eight years of his life were spent with his parents in Fort hold where they worked as weavers. At the age of eight, Gavin was fostered to a beastmaster where he was trained in the ways of beastmastering, giving him his current large physique. He was then Searched and arrived at Jewel River.

Appearance: Logan is around 5'4", with the figure and posture of a still growing boy. He has a slight build; but is mostly slim and healthy. His skin is somewhat pale from his days alone in dark rooms - but it is starting to tan as he becomes more and more social with nature. His hair is a dark, feathery ebony; which drapes handsomely over his brows; surprisingly. His eyes are a deep green, and his cheekbones have a sleekness to them - but his face still holds a rounded shape.

Dragon Appearance: Emrenth is a deep jade in coloring, some think of him emerald green, and mistake him as that color, but he is a jade. His wings have ripples of deep tarnished silver along them, veins of bronze running up his jade wings.
Dragon Personality: Emrenth is an interesting dragon. His personality is solemn, and you can never tell when he is teasing, or when he is being serious. More often than not he is teasing, but it is hard to discern the difference. He is kind, and fond of ridiculing his rider in front of others.

Personality: G'haius is kind, but his eyes sometimes decieve him of what he sees. Sometimes he sees things which aren't there, and Emrenth never lets him forget it. He is fairly kind, but doesn't speak unless it is really called for. Unlike Emrenth, he saves his words for when they'll be the most useful.
Appearance: G'haius has raven black hair, dappled in the light. His eyes are a somber brown, and his skin tanned in the sun. He was from Southern Weyr, and perhaps might have seen JRW's weyrwoman as a weyrling, being from an earlier clutch than her. He is very average, in weight but in height he towers.
History: G'haius impressed in Southern Weyr days over the age barrier for candidacy. He was often jostled and ignored, because of his small stature, but at fifteen turns he shot up, then towering over quite a few people in the weyr. He was still an outcast never the less, and when the transfer option came up, he quite honestly requested to go to JRW, in stead of Southern Weyr.

History: Klenta was born into a busy family of harpers. Unwanted by her parents, she was fostered out at a young age. Soon that family passed her to another foster family. As she grew older she was passed from foster family to foster family until she reached the age of 17 turns, when she was picked up by a search rider and brought to a weyr. She'd tried to impress many times in the first turn and a half. then she gave up, rejected by all. She blacked out all emotions except anger, pain and hatred.She's tried to kill herself many times, but always failed. She could never aim the kife to hit her vital organs and when she jumped she wouldn't land the right way to break her neck. She's only end up breaking and arm or a leg. When she stabbed herself someone always found her and took her to healer hall. She always recovered.

Personality: Reizende is now a quiet girl, haunted by memories of her past. She often mourns what she formerly had, reveling in memories of her old friends and life. She used to be bright and happy, a very hyper girl. Since all her problems, however, she has become dark and depressed, not trusting anyone very easily. She�s uncomfortable going up to people, although in a group she trusts, such as in the friends she had back at Tarro Hold, she was very leader-like. She�s a take-charge type of girl, and an actress at heart. She�s fairly intelligent, and had excelled in nearly everything she did. Creativity is one of her more valued qualities, and poetry is her passion. She pours her hopes, dreams, fears, and depression into vivid yarns and poems, yet only shares them with those she is close to. She�s fond of boys, and a flirt at heart, although she can never dedicate herself to one for long. She had one man she was in love with, and devoted herself to him entirely, with unconditional and pure love, but he was 4 Turns her older, and her parents disapproved, and banned her from seeing him again. After that, and many other tragic episodes, she took to loathing men, yet still crushed on them occasionally, though it amounted to nothing more than that�a meager crush.
Appearance: As her days as the daughter of a Holder, she was carefree, and looked it. She had long golden brown hair, and sparkling green eyes. She was average height and pretty slender, with long shapely legs. After the abuse began, however, her personality as well as her appearance dulled. She cut her hair and let it hang just below her shoulders, sort of wavy. Her hair is a blondish brown, no longer with a golden sheen to it. Her eyes remain emerald, yet the passionate fire has long since dwindled. The hurt and misery of her past is now mirrored there, exposed for the world to see. There are flecks of black and blue in the green, making her eyes pretty, yet her gaze is haunting. She still smiles occasionally, and can be happy at times, but rarely. That may be an exaggeration, though. True, at times, if she thinks someone is trying to use her (again), or another equally hurtful reason, she will become sullen and miserable. But, the reason she was searched, is when at the times she IS happy, she can get nearly anything done. She�s not very organized, but she�ll accomplish whatever she�s doing, none-the-less. Determination is one of her strong points, although her hard-headed stubbornness may be her downfall. When she is in this type of mood, though, hard working, with cares, hopes, dreams, and inspiration, her former appearance shines through it all. Her wavy golden hair is no longer dull, and almost sparkles in the sunlight. Her emerald eyes will light up like jewels held up to the sun, the anguish in them diminished for some time. That�s the only problem, though�it�s only for SOME time.
History: Her father was close to the Lord Holder, so her family was always well enough off. Though, one day, the Lord and Lady both died of the same illness, and the people were grave. Reizende�s family went poor, scavenging and borrowing from others. Soon enough, though, the people grew to hate them. For some reason, her father took it out on her, and abused her. He harassed her continually, but loved and supported both her younger brother and sister. Her mother tried to help her, but Reizende was just too depressed. Finally, after one particularly cruel beating, she ran away. A day later, hungry, and tired, she was found by a search dragon. The Dragon brought her to the Weyr, where she now hopes to Impress. She was used by friends in the past, and cheated on by �loved� ones. The hurt was too much to bear, and she was deserted and abandoned one too many times. Trust is her weak point, and she rarely makes herself vulnerable to anyone. She�s afraid that if she does learn to care, to open up and trust, to rely on them, that she�ll be hurt yet again. Everyone she�d ever loved had done that for her, except for her one friend, who her parents banned her from seeing because of a meager difference such as age.

Personality: Janiss is very helpful and quiet, and works very hard. She was Betrice's first choice to take over for her, but was very stubborn in the fact that she wanted very dearly to be a candidate. She tends to act older than her years, so that is one sure reason she is standing as a candidate now.

History: Janiss was born into a weyr, her mother(the headwoman of Southern Weyrs) oldest daughter. She had an older sister, whom Betrice had fostered to take over for her. When her siblings were born Janiss was very young but helped as soon as she could walk and talk. She insisted as soon as she watched her first hatching that she be a candidate the instant she was old enough. She worked hard at being good and finally, when they transfered to Jewel River, she was aloud to stand at the third clutch there.

Personality: Ganillion adores animals of any type and size, though the un animal like dragons are at the top of his list. He has always loved tending young creatures, which includes his four younger siblings...though Mirran doesnt really count with her quiet dignity (sort of another brekke). Often he'd run off to find animals in his home. He is very stubborn but not much of a leader.
Appearance: Ganillion has, oddly enough, deep violet eyes. His hair is brown, as are most of his siblings. He is as tall as Janiss, and second eldest of his family. He is of a sturdier build but has gentle slender hands, though they are callused. Young, or injured creatures tend to run to the big if young lad rather that away from him. He's very freckled and tanned.
History: Ganillion was born to Betrice, son of a dragonrider at Southern Weyr. He'd always loved dragons and as soon as he was large enough constantly ran off, to his mothers dismay, looking for any critters around his weyr, as well as tending siblings and learning dragon healing. Appearance: Her hair is matted, caked with blood and mud. Her eyes are piercing green, and her skin is caked with dirt, although behind it is paleness that echoes every fiber of her being.
History: She was born as a drudge, her mother found dead after she was born on a cold winter's night, her mother froze. Her father buried her alive in the snow, and she was found half-dead by a drudge. She never fit in. She never knew others like her or who liked her for who she was.

Personality: Hana seems far older than her mere 15 turns, but can just be her age if need be. She seems to have a quiet air oc command and dignity about her. Hana seems to hold deep underderstading amd wisdom and a sort of Empathy to others. She's very reliable and could have been a really good harper had she recieved the training. History: Hana was born in a small country hold. She grew up there until she was 2 turns of age before they moved(after the birth of her yonger brother) into her uncles large hold. She had a normal childhood but she always longed to be a harper, a writer or recorder of tales! But the training was kept from her and she had "chores" instead. So she spent all her spare time watching and learning from the journey man harper stationed in their hold. By 10 turns she was an expert at making and playing gitar, pipe and the more complicated flute. She always felt...differnt than others of her home. She _was_ sad when searched, but more of leaving her music than her hold. She didn't mind leaving the crowded hold and many siblings/cousins.

Personality: Lese is a very nice person, but can be mean to those who deserve it. She despises people who try to take authority over her, but she has a flaw of doing that herself. Lese used to be the one to go too is you needed help or needed to confide in someone at her Hold, and still wishes to uphold that demeanor. She likes things to be as perfect as they can, but is not the most valuable housecleaner in the world. She likes to cook also, and is learning to actually get quite good at making klah, after being told she could never be a proper housewife. Hearing that statement, Lese wanted to prove to everyone that she could be more than a Harper, but also help out around her Hold in anyway she could. A small flaw about her, is that she likes to prove herself to people around her. She likes to make herself as helpful as possible, but that usually results in the risk of not taking as much care of herself as usual. Personality: Julyan has a hidden past which he hates talking about. He says that he "earns" repsect, but really just expects everyone to lookup to and listen to him. Julyan is a very sly person, and has an unknown reason towards hating Harpers, especially Harper girls. He can easily warm up to people of higher rank than him, but he despises people of equal, or lower rank. Julyan finds himself at the center of attention constantly, and when he's not, he guides the spotlight his way. He has been known to be very cinical and rude, but finds himself perfect in every way possible, not bothering to listen to anything anyone says unless it's important to him. However, Julyan can be completly charming to girls he fancies, and many that he respects. Many who find him being nice to someone say that he's just using them, which results in him throwing a tantrum or shouting. Julyan can make himself look semi-decent though if he ever bothered letting his hair fall into its normal wave or if he wore clothes that wasn't a few sizes to big for him. His eyes are a dark, earthen color which can charm many unintentionally.
History: Julyan came from a runner beast hall where he, obviously, raised runner beasts. His family was large, contisting of his parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother. He had lived on the Southern Continent for some time while he was young but then transfered into the forests where runner beasts could be easily found. Personality: Kirna is an interesting character. One most well-known aspect of her personality is that she is extremely strong-willed. Her stubborness, while it occasionally comes in handy, causes some problems. Still, it is one aspect of her personality that she prides herself on. She's very manipulative and somehow almost always gets people to do what she wants. The young woman is definately a perfectionist, and she's not actually afraid to speak her mind about things, though she usually doesn't. Her temper is a tricky, volatile thing. Sometimes, it only takes a tiny thing to cause her to blow, yet other times, small things don't bother her. She has a general mistrust for everyone, and she doesn't open up to someone quickly. She has a sharp mind, occasionally too quick for her own good. She has ways of reaching her ends, no matter who opposes her. An invaluable ally, and a ferocious enemy. Appearance: Kirna could be classified as pretty, but she'd never pay any mind to it. With a slender frame of medium build, she's the makings of an neopetsdly beautiful girl if she really cared. She does, truly, but it's something she'd never admit, and she certainly acts as if it doesn't matter. Her eyes are a lively, expressive grayish-green offset in pale skin resulting from being raised in the northern reaches of the Western Continent, where a suitable habitat was finally uncovered. Her hair has a certain wave to it, and it falls down her back in shiny black strands. Chances are, you'll find her in a shirt and comfortably worn-in breeches. For the most part, she wears sandals, but during the winter, thick wher-hide boots and a coat of deep blue. She carries a small, plain dagger with no engravings save her name in small, curling script on the blade. Plain or not, it is one of her most valued posessions, being a gift from her best friend from childhood.
History: Kirna was raised in a small, relatively unknown Hold on the Southern Continent. While the place wasn't terribly poor, it wasn't as wealthy as many Holds had become.
