Crescent Moon Hold

  • Holders: Lord Holder Arlen, Lady Holder Bridget
    Crescent Moon Hold is known for its prized red-black herdbeasts with spiraling horns. This is the largest Hold under Crescent Moon Weyr's protection and is situated on part of the same island chain. Gathers are often held here for the enjoyment of both the holderfolk and the dragonriders. Dragonriders are a common sight here, since it is so close to the weyr.

    Flit Hold
  • Holders: Holder Addam, Lady Meilan
    Flit Hold is located on an island northwest of the Weyr's Main Island. It is also the northern most island in the Crescent Moon Islands. The Holder is Addam and his wife is Meilan. Flit Hold's main purpose is to find and control the distribution of flit eggs and to train the healers of Pern in flit Care. Also it those who wish to specialize in everything about flits can join the hold and hopefully become a Flit Master. Flit Hold is the only hold on Pern devoted to just flits.
