Personality: Gillian is on the shy side. She has a caring heart, and is quite stubborn when she feels like it. Her face shines in happiness and it seems to be contagious, for wherever she goes, everyone is usually happy. She is quite determined, never giving up and staying intact when things are at a bad state. Her bad points are quite obvious. Even though she knows something, she is usually too shy to say it outright. She is generous, and kind though she could be selfish sometimes. She is not easy to convince, unless she has no choice. Gillian stays with tradition, and isn�t so easily changed. Gillian loves to help, though she is sometimes too shy to even show herself. She is a hard worker though, when you get on her good side. Overall, Gillian loves to help and work, though her shy side may take the better of her sometimes.
Appearance: Gillian has long brown hair, which is tied up in a fierce little ponytail at the back of her head. She usually wears a vest, made out of runner hide. She wears werry hide boots and gloves as well, carefully tanned by her own father. She wears a funny looking hat, which is blue in color, and has a loooooong end. That means it drapes down her back like hair, somewhat similar to the main character in the game �Zelda�. Her vest is green, and her boots are brown. Her pants are brown as well, a bit short so her ankles could be seen. She dresses this way al the time, though the color of her vest may change.
History: Gillian came from Tillek, a hold near Western. Her father was a tanner, and her mother was a weaver. Weavers and Tanners are supposed to have this big fight in fashion, but not for Gillian�s mother and father. Gillian has a twin named Gillen. Their names have almost the exact spelling and are somewhat confusing to some people. Her twin looks almost exactly like her, only without her long hair.

Personality: : Lazzaro is a very outspoken and troublesome, especially when it comes to pulling girls braids or teasing authority figures behind their backs. It was once said that the only thing that would calm his wild soul would be the Impression of a dragon.
Appearance: An unruly young lad with bright green streaks in his fiery red hair. He is somewhat vertically challenged, but he is built to hold his own in a fight with a gaggle of hold boys.
History: Poor Lazzaro, called Lazzy by his parents and close friends, was orphaned when his parents were killed by the corrupt Lord Holder of Crom. In his escape he was caught by a dragonrider of High Reaches Weyr who was looking for survivors after the attack. When Lazzy did not Impress at High Reaches a year later, he was sent to Crescent Moon Weyr in the hopes that he might Impress at an upcoming Hatching.

Personality: Somewhat undaunting, Kieran is not the sort of young man to flare up at insults, or care if he has friends in plenty or not. He is rather absent-minded, his mind more often in other places than tied down to Pern. His intelligence scares some people, for Kieran can hear questions and answer, without even thinking of a response, and would even unnerve himself, had he even noticed. He doesn't even notice half of what goes on around him, usually. The mind of this young man works in mysterious ways, that none but himself can comprehend, if he bothered to do so. He is a talented musician, always composing some sort of music, or writing ballads, or poetry, or something else that most lads of his age woul scorn. He is somewhat of a dreamer, thinking of strange solutions, and stumbling into complex things without even realizing it. To the disgruntlement of those involved, he often solves the trouble with some vague suggestion. When Kieran turns his sense on, however, very little escapes him, and he stores it away in an impressive memory. When he decides to remember something, he rarely forgets it. He takes promises seriously. Rarely does he anger, but when he does, it is best to stand clear. He is devoted, and generally considered eccentric by those who know him.
Appearance: Kieran is the sort of person who has perfected fading into the background. He has hit his youth growth spurt somewhat early, and is as skinny as a stick, with narrow shoulders, but towering above most of his comrades, at almost six feet and showing no signs of stopping. His appearance is not particularly notable, with a somewhat angular face, still slightly boyish, but hinting that that look will not linger for too much longer. He has floppy, dark brown hair with a tendency of falling in his face, and not being moved. Kieran pays very little attention to his appearance, or clothing, though if he took the time to brush his hair, he wouldn�t look half bad. His eyes are slightly tilted up at the corners, a deep chocolate brown, flecked with amber and gold. When angered his optics blaze, but otherwise don�t display emotion. His skin is a creamy beige, spattered with freckles and burning easily.
History: Born to common parents, Kieran's father was a fisher, and his mother a weaver. Contrary to their wishes, he always had found himself interested in music of all sorts. Whether it was listening to a Harper when they wandered by his home, or playing around with a pipe, Kieran clearly was not the sort of boy that his parents had wished for. At 6, when his brother was born, he was sent off to the home of Lord Kerovarn, and Lady Nelima. They chose to school him with their brood of children, despite difference in rank, where he came to meet a girl by the name of Caeles. Desperately in need of company in this strange place, who would not order him around, they became friends. At 13 turns he was sent off to learn more than the music that he had taught himself. When he returned, more knowledgeable and even more absent minded, at 15 � Turns, she was soon married off to a Lord Holder, despite her rebellious nature, and he was left virtually alone in the Holding. When a Dragonrider happened upon the Hold on Search, much to everyone�s surprise, he was taken as a prospective Candidate to Crescent Moon Weyr.

Personality: Curiousity killed the feline, they say. Well, Hallera had better be glad that she is not a feline, or she would have died turns ago. Hallera just LOVES to stick her nose where it doesn�t belong, a trait that has gotten her in trouble many times. Aside from that, she is a caring girl who likes to help others, especially in healing, the job she had wanted most as a child. She is very quiet and obiedient, though, and has a habit of taking orders to do things, regardless. This has been an abused trait of hers, and as a result, she automatically does things like cleans up her room or clears off a table. Should she be the one to give the orders, she will expect them to be done. She is a prompt girl, and doesn�t like wasting time in the slightest, nor does she like foolishness.
Appearance: Hallera is a short girl�or as she says �petite��but that does not make her look like a child. She has an appearance that practically commands respect. Her brown eyes may look warm, but they can be cold and piercing at times. She has brown waves that reach to just past her shoulders, and is accompanied with freckles dotting her cheekbones and the bridge of her nose from being in the sun for too long.
History: Hallera�s history has never been one of interest. Born to a holder and his wife, she was the second youngest child, and therefore was babied and didn�t have to do much work. Indeed, most of her childhood was spent playing with her youngest sister, Hena. Personally, she enjoyed living at the hold, and didn�t want to risk her life as a dragonrider, although the thought had appealed to many her age. Lately, though, she has begun to change her mind�

History: Daine is Miri's older twin sister. She was born in a small hold under Keroon Hold. Her father died before Daine and Miri were born so the twins were raised by their mother, Sarra. Their mother was the granddaughter of the Lord of Keroon Hold. When it came time for the girls to be fostered out, Daine, being the elder, was sent to Keroon Hold. Miri, however, was sent to a small seahold near Nerat. It was in Keroon that Daine discovered her talent with animals. The twins were Searched while on a visit to their home hold.

Personality: Zeyar has quite the loud personality. He has a bit of a habit of automatically assuming a level of familiarity with everyone and anyone he meets, making him a very open person. He's not at all shy or if he is it takes quite a bit to bring it out of him as well to get him embarrassed. He's very understanding though it seems, and friendly to everyone, well almost. But as friendly as he is, Zeyar does have bit of a temper. It doesn't take all that much to get him steaming about something. He's very stubborn when it comes to a lot of things, especially anything that he sets his mind to doing or not doing. He doesn't like to be told what to do though, he does conform when there is a time and place to it. But just because he does it doesn't necessarily means he likes it. And when he doesn't like something, Zeyar makes it known. He's a bit of an extreme that way. When he likes something, he really likes something. When he doesn't like something, he REALLY doesn't like something.
Appearance: Zeyar has deep hazel eyes with short sandy, brownish blond hair atop his head. He's a bit tanner than the average Pernese being that he spent all his life along the shore side of the Southern Continent. He's about the average height, standing around 5'4" perhaps 5'5" but probably no taller than that. Zeyar's moderately well built, fairly lean and definitely in shape. He has a lot of boyish charm to him. Deep, dark eyes with a grin that spreads cheek to cheek on a face that's oh so very expressive.
History: Zeyar was born and raised in a Hold in the Southern Continent, just right along the shore side of the Dolphin Coves. He's never been any further outside of his Hold than to his daily visits to the ocean. Other than that he's pretty blind to the rest of Pern other than the tales he's told of the forests and the Weyrs. That's why when Zeyar was searched he was so gravely mixed with the feelings of excitement and dread. Both his parents were craftsmasters. His mother was a talented weaver and his father was a smith. Zeyar had tried his hand in both crafts but none seemed the craft for him. Surprisingly Zeyar's talents came with working with the runners as well as cooking in the kitchens, a large shock to anyone that knew him. And very seriously, he took to his tasks. Zeyar has an older sister who unexpectedly made her way into the Harper Halls. He also has two younger brothers, who although young already show a promise in smithing, and a younger sister who attaches herself to their mother. So Zeyar really was a bit of a black sheep in his family. Not that he ever really minded it.

Personality: Very little will, Kazrael is timid, and used to being �pushed around.� If one orders him to go do something, chances are that he�ll do it immediately, for fear of inspiring wrath. He despised it when people are angry at him, but if he does have to face it, he�ll come up with any way he can to duck out of it. He shies away from responsibilities and attention, preferring to remain burrowed in some record or another, and would do so until Pern came to an end, if he had a choice. However, people keep trying to hustle this reclusive lad into being a more outgoing person, and trying to shape him to their will. And oddly enough, though he�ll agree meekly and head off to do whatever ordered to, he has a silent, deadly way of rebelling against things that he doesn�t agree with, that usually winds up in the other being incredibly humiliated. He finds and stores information away, and though he doesn�t look much like an intellectual, his memory is quite impressive. He will remember an insult, though unless extreme, wont find the energy to do anything about it. He does very little, unless in a life-or-death situation, or his reputation -what there is of it- at stake. Extremely shy, he stays to himself to an incredible extent, and is �king� of monosyllabic responses. He speaks little, and what he does say is�not always coherent. Kazrael seems to live in a world of his own, where nothing is ever wrong�leading some to wonder if he�s mad. However, there�s nothing �crazy� about him. In fact, he may be too down to earth when required of him. A fidgeting, jittery lad, who�s apt to scramble away from society at the first chance he gets. Meek, and absent minded, he is always putting things down and forgetting where he leaves them. Afraid of violence.
Appearance: Rather on the small side of �average� Kazrael is not tall for his age, at only 5�6" and rather stocky (well�perhaps a bit heavy, were one to be entirely honest about the lad) besides. He is broad shouldered, and perhaps with a bit of exercise, could have a not entirely hard to view body, but he isn�t that sort. His hair is thick and quite a dark brown, and rather shaggy due to the fact that it was let grow too long. Some males it suites. Kaz, it doesn�t. His eyes are a dark shade of green, and have a trick of appearing considerably paler when caught by light, and almost black when hidden in the shadows, as he�s apt to be. His features aren�t entirely unpleasant, but as is often the case with him, nothing out of the ordinary either. His nose and jaw are well built, and his lips have a rather sculptured cut, but his face is rather feminine and pale, from lack of �outdoors� If he�d really cared, he might have cured this�but again, Kazrael isn�t that sort of person. Neither does he care about what he wears, simply grabbing the first item of clothing that he finds in the clothes press in the morning, and he can wear it all day without noticing how horribly it clashes, for he has little or no observance.
History: Born in a common Hold, Kazrael was rather out of place with all of his tall and broad brothers. As a result, he tended to be picked on by all of his peers in the Hold. It was this that led to him gaining a shield of meekness, obeying all commands, to avoid this�but it led only to more. As a result, Kaz retreated into himself, becoming who he is now. At around 16 turns, he left home to go to a Weyr, purely of his own will, for really no reason other than he wanted a change of setting from the Hold that he had dwelled in his entire life. There, the Weyrlady decreed that he might as well stand the next clutch�and so he did, with no luck. Kaz, however, was not surprised in the least, but agreed to try again. And eventually, despairing of ever having him Impress, the Weyrwoman there sent him to Crescent Moon, for the upcoming clutch.

Personality: Quite cold hearted when it comes to the sympathy of others. Seth appears brutal from his boisterous days of growing up at the Vlaxiar Hold. A �rough fisted fellow� as described by those at the hold. His apathetic nature earned him a negative reputation on those who know of him as absolutely despising dragon riders. Some say it was because his father was chosen in becoming a dragon rider at the time of his mother�s disease. Here are a few words to describe him: coldhearted, ruthless, secretive, alone, LOST.
Appearance: A man born off the shores of the sea, Seth wears his mood whenever possible. A strong build with a high self-esteem, noting that he could care less about what others think about him. Has long, dark flowing hair that he usually wears down unless he is working. Wears the clothes that his ancestors had passed down to him; further more concealing the dark character within. His hair he keeps long for the mourning for his mother; it hides his face and shadows his redemption.
History: Seth grew up in Vlaxier Hold, off the cost off a nearby sea and Weyr. Nothing in his life really gave clue as to why he appears and acts so heartless, but many believe it was because of the death of his mother who died from an unknown disease when he was 17. It was obvious that after his mother�s death, Seth had no other brother or sisters. He was alone in the world; with his mother gone and his father off at another Weyr. He learned to keep his head low, to not talk unless he found the meaning to, and to always keep a straight face. Many believe that he has no personality, yet what do they know of a person they haven�t gotten the chance to know?

Personality: He's terribly vain with a touch of conceit, and arrogance abounds. Though typically cool of temper, when he's angered he refuses to listen and draws away from the one who angered him. He's rather aloof until he gets to know you, and even still holds himself distant unless he likes you. Once he likes you, though, it's next to impossible to discourage him from lavishing you with time and attention and just leave you alone.
Appearance: A honey blonde with catty eyes, he takes excellent care of himself and thinks himself God's gift to women. He has dark eyes, a brown so dark as to be black. He's lean, not very muscular at all. His skin is pale as he's too vain to spend much time away from anything reflective. His hair, when up in its typical style of a ponytail that consists of three braids, still forms a loop on the ground, so he has to carry it to keep it from dragging and getting dirty and damaged. He always dresses as though he's going somewhere fancy.
History: He never did anything really outstanding in his Hold, and was only known for his vanity. He and Mischa are from the same Hold. He and Mischa have known each other for a long while, much to Elisokief's continued displeasure.

History: Sakar lived in the weyr with his mother until he was ten turns. His father Sakar never knew. Sakar and his mother were walking through the swamplands when they were attacked by an unidentified creature. The creature attacked Sakar leaving a large gash on his arm that became his current scar but Sakar's mother leaped in front of the creature as it lunged a second time at Sakar. His mother was killed and dragged of by the creature. Sakar ran back to the weyr in hysterics and has lived in the weyr alone since.
