  • Dragon Appearance: Jariath's hide borders on the edge of the blackest black dragon known to the Pernese and the dark of between. His emotional eyes whirl colors like any other dragon's, but the colors are much more bold.

  • Personality: Sensitive and helpful, he tries to keep the world of Pern a nice place to live. He's definately the kind of guy that girls love to fall for and although he tries not to, he usually ends up breaking hearts. Not cocky at all.
  • Appearance: shock of bright blonde hair set against very tan skin and bright blue eyes.
  • History: F'rel is a young and distant cousin of F'lar himself. He was born and bred at High Reaches, mostly cut off from the rest of the world. After Impressing he was shuffled around from Weyr to Weyr because people weren't too keen to keep him around for long for him clumsiness and forgetfulness but he really tries! Now that he's found a place at Crescent Moon Weyr and returned from his special training at Fort Weyr, he is much more confident of himself and especially around the ladies.

  • Dragon Appearance: A midnight black, with very dark blue mixed in, strangely enough there is the small blue crescent moon on her right foreleg, she is 39 meters in length.
  • Dragon Personality: Moranth is an enthusiatic and powerful black dragon that is somewhat shy but when called upon is very open.

  • Personality: Quiet and artistic Risika doesn't have many friends but those who know her well love her.
  • Appearance: Long Black hair, Tall, Green Eyes, high and tight black boots, the right boot carries a swoard for protection.
  • History: Grew up in High reaches and stunned her family after impressing at age 14 a black dragon. She went from Weyr to Weyr looking for the right one until she found Crescent Moon Weyr.

  • Dragon Appearance: Core of the flame black with a size of 40 meters.
  • Dragon Personality: Demanding at times, he will always push to get his way if sometimes agressive, but at heart is loving and kind.

  • Personality: Outgoing, adventurous, and is said to have a quick and devistating temper when angered.
  • Appearance: Hair that is Deep black, Green flecked with yellow eyes, Tall in height with muscular build, and wears Tight weyrhide at most occations, both he and Kaleth are envied in apperance.
  • History: Grew up with his mother and father in the lushness of the jungle, went to the Harper Hall at age 13, but was searched from there at age 15, impressed at Fort Hold and was the werymate of Risika befor they parted ways, he came to Crescent Moon Weyr in hopes of seeing her again, though not to be her Weyrmate this time, just hopefully friends.

  • Dragon Appearance: Tarenth is a pure black dragon and reaches 36 meters.
  • Dragon Personality: Tarenth, like L'iam, is quiet and rarely speaks to anyone other than L'iam. He doesn't associate with other dragons prefering his own company for most of the time.
  • Weyrmate: Yali, prism Tiabeth
  • Personality: L'iam is shy and always quiet. He tend to be somewhat of a loner, though at times he's friendly. He's been afraid to get close to others since the death of his family. The only two people he really talks beside Tarenth to are his aunt, Arashi, and his weyrmate Yali. And even then he tries not to get too close though seems to be failing miserably.
  • Appearance: L'iam is tall with chin-length black hair. His eyes are mysterious though one may get a glimpse at the emotions behind the calm exterior for thet seem to change color with his emotions: blue-gray most of the time, blue when angry or scared, crystal when hiding something, blue-green when flirting or just being friendly, and green when intensely happy.
  • History: L'iam is the only nephew of Arashi. He lived Holdless since he was 7 due to the sudden death of his family. He was then raised by his older sister Leia until she died when he was 12. He's been taking care of himself ever since.

  • Personality: Always seeming to be deep in thought, but never thinking of anything. Not very sociable, due to an estranged upbringing. If she lived on old Earth she would have been condisered "Goth" for she always wears her favorite color, black.
  • Appearance: Long, incredibly straight that's such a deep red it's almost black. The same bright blueness of eyes as M'rek. Long limbs and long fingers, too. Tall without being lanky.
  • History: Originally from the outskirts of Southern Hold, Chaviva was accidentally Searched by a lost bluerider from Crescent Moon Weyr. She was incredibly old to be considered as a candidate, but she knew that dragons knew best. Upon arriving at the Weyr, she was reunited with her brother, M'rek, whom she and her family had long since taken for dead.

  • Personality: She is honest to a fault and kind to those that are kind to her. She isnt very social, unless provoked. She hopes to get the chance to impress a black dragon, though she knows they are rare. She tends to have few friends, though everyone tends to know her somehow.
  • Appearance: She is 5'3". Her hair is cut quite short, a few inches perhaps all around, except her bangs, which are a little past her chin in length, and it is a fairly bright red. Her skin is quite pale, and she prefers to wear black to anything else. When shes forced to wear white she fights the whole time. She wears thigh length suede boots always. She also hates skirts with a vengence.
  • History: She has always been fascinated by the wondrous dragons she was told of, and comes from a Hall on one of the northern continents. Her parents were killed by thread when she was young, and so she was raised by a family in the Hall.

  • Personality: Gewynion is an average lad, in nearly ever way, He's completely indiscernable in a large crowd of people, and his personality is rather bland. He tends to read often, escaping into fictitious worlds and doesn't _mind_ people but they're not his life. He tends to be dreamy, which gets on some peoples nerves. He's also a neat freak.
  • Appearance: Gewyn has straight, shoulder length brown hair tied into a loose bony tail and secured with a leather thong. He's of average hight and weigh, completely unremarkable but with kind eyes. His eyes happen to be a deep, brown which seems black in dim light.
  • History: Gewynion is of Keroon, and lived a completely plain life there up until his sixteenth turn. Then his secure life shattered as a dragon egg. His hold was attacked by raiders with "fire sticks" and most of his family was slaughtered mercilessly. In the end only Gewyn and his younger cousin Gwynhyfara survived. He was found cowering in a crumbling brick building, protecting Gwynhyfara from the outside still, by Jerni. She brought him to C.M.W out of pity partially and also because Gwenith said he had "potential".

  • Personality: shy, lonely, slightly homesick. Would like to make friends but has a hard time talking to people until she gets to know them. Can�t stand to be bossed around, but listens well to seniors and people who have authority. Overall good natured but can hold a grudge for years. Pays attention to her surroundings. Confident with all animals� but not so much with people.

    History: Born and raised in Ruatha where her family bred runners. Was a trainer there with her family until she was searched.

  • Dragon Appearance: Quite stalky, about 36ft in length and has the appearence of an adolescent. Scales are deep black and often shift with personality.
  • Dragon Personality: Most of the time outgoing; unlike Arean who is very shy and never up to a challenge. Always supporting Arean in every occasion, slowly teaching Arean the means of taking one step forward. Much is not known for Daniath's temporary attitude towards those who make an effort of going beyond the disrespectful manners towards any higher ranking dragon. Tends to struggle with her rider when Arean falls into one of her 'episodes'. Though the bond between rider and dragon are well, there are times whaen Arean wishes nothing more than to be gone away from reality. Daniath, being the most acceptable dragon she can be, manages to pull her rider back to her consciencness at the moment of loss.

  • Personality: Arean is a great friend and good-hearted. She is VERY shy about meeting other people and never had too many friends. In her own time she likes to write stories, true or fiction, that is until Daniath came into her life. Now, the two make up their own story. At times can get nervous over the simplest things; such as making friends or even the task of flying with Daniath. Not much can be said, but she is learning what it means to be a dragonrider. Seems to have a deep longing to be something bigger than what she is. Ever since her poor days as a kitchen maid, Arean is determined with the help of her black dragon Daniath to FIND herself, MAKE friends, and FIND the one she loves. Always falls into depression or deep thought over the littleset things; such as a tease and her fear of flying. Feels that all the other dragonriders are better than her and yet won't admit her feelings to anyone but her dragon. Keeps to herself because she does not have many friends. Wants to make friends but seems to have trouble doing so and yet, Daniath does anything in her power to help her Rider no matter how difficult.
  • Appearance: Arean has long, brown hair that she usually wears tied up. Light green eyes and stands about 5' 5. Face has a smooth brightness to it and wears normal outfit that all rider wear.
  • History: Grew up near a Weyr, and was a kitchen maid. Did not have much of a family, which seems to be the cause for her 'depression'. Not much can be said as of the moment. Yet, if there were a possibilty of finding out, the help of her dragon and friends may be able to puch out the truth. Of course, Arean still refuses to share such emotions. She thinks only of sharing it with the one she loves, if ever possible.
