| Luna Hope was born on September 3, 2003. She was found in a box with her brother when she was just five weeks old outside a petsmart. Her left eye was already infected and had ring worm. The pet trainer Becky found her and said her eye looked like chopped liver. She went home with her foster mommy from Homeless Orphan Pet Endeavor (HOPE) named Sandy. Her eye could not be saved and was removed. People in the community donated money to pay her vet bill but one donation box was stolen but a kind soul replaced all the missing money! She was the pet of the week at a Petsmart (not the one where she was found) and was adopted on Jan 3, 2004. She is very happy and spoiled. She enjoys napping in the sun and playing with her toys! She does not miss her left eye. |
