God's Cry
By Carol McPherson

Alters are empty, there's no more tears.
The Baseball fields are full

and Basketball courts full of cheers.

Where are my people,

where have they gone?

I hear a voice say,
"we don't need alters anymore".

I say, "you need to learn
to go to war".
The battle belongs to me,
yet I see my children flee.

I'm looking for an army.
One that will stand and march with me,

to conquer the land that has been stolen.

Fill the alter, cry out the battle cry.
Come together to the alters once again.

Carol has written a story as well that you may view by clicking here.
