Someone who was kind,
compassionate, and loving.
Someone who cared about others,
what was right and what was wrong.
Only the best was what he desired for others.
who were sad, lonely, and hurting.
Someone who was a generous person,
giving of himself
and what he saw others in need of.
All he wanted in return was
the love and trust
of his fellowmen.
Sinful
beings that men are,
they looked upon him as a good enough guy.
but not to be taken seriously.
Oh, he was nice to talk with and to listen to.
They'd take whatever he offered,
but few ever gave him thanks.
Worthy
to be praised he was,
but little did he receive.
Being wrapped up in themselves
and their own little world
they could not see who he was.
Most meant him no harm yet they denied him.
Other's did not want to get involved
and they allowed Him to be crucified.

Are you one who cannot be bothered,
or take time to give a little of yourself?
Give a little time
to the one
who cares enough about you
to give you all
His love,
the love of Jesus Christ.
