Forgive me Lord.
For like a child
who meets a stranger
in the street with candy;
It's so tempting.
And like a child,
whose unaware of danger.
I follow Satan down the street.
But you, oh Lord,
come running down the street
with all your love
for one so weak.
Your arms around me,
Lovingly carry me back.
Like a child, whose become aware.
I cry out "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.

 

  

 

 
Have you not prayed for me?
Have you not prayed for Gods will to be done?
Then why are you of so little faith.
When God answers prayer and His will done?
Have you believed God answers prayer?
Why do you desire that your will be done?
Can you not accept his answer?  



 

 


 


I lift my spiritual hands to pray.
  Lord, cleanse my heart of unfaithfulness,
Shine it with faithfulness.  

Take the cobwebs of unhappiness
hanging within it.
And sweep them away with Joy.  

Spray those spiders
of unkindness.
Replace them with kindness.  

Take out the trash
of uncontrolled anger
Bring in self control and understanding.

 Wash out the filthy rags
of badness and sin
Dry them in goodness.

Dust off the unsettle-ness
and impatience
Replace peace and patience.  

With your love and gentleness,
Fill my cleansed heart
with your Holy Spirit.

  
 
 

 

God is Love and Love is patient and kind.
Many times we fail to be so.

Love is not jealous,
There are times when we have been envious

Love does not brag and is not proud,
Our pride destroys our lives and others whom we love.

Love is not rude,
Many times we have been.

Love does not become angry easily.
Satan has controlled us often here.

Love is not selfish.
How often we think of only ourselves.

Love does not remember wrong.
Satan doesn't let you forget.

Love is not happy with evil,
Often our thoughts are such
 

  


Love is happy with the truth,
We've told little white lies.

Love patiently accepts others as they are.
We try to change them.

Love always trust,
Often we mistrust

Love always hopes.
Many times we give up.

Love always remains strong.
Our strength does not always  love.

That is what real love is!
That is what human nature is.

Gods is love and love is forever
That is why we need to die to self.
