It is not entirely clear that this person was a child of Josiah and Ann, but he appears with their family in the records of Oskaloosa Friends Meeting. Members of the family listed here are Josiah, Ann (daughter of Wm & Hannah Knight), Clara (deceased), Louis C, Irving W, and Alfred J (deceased). It is tempting to conclude that he is identical with Earnest J, who died young as well, but then one has to explain why Isaac Rollo does not appear in this list.
