"Ahh!" Rapyd cried out, quickly sitting up. She
sighed. Rapyd rolled over and looked over at Vegeta.
"Ha. Look at
him. He looks so cute when he sleeps," Rapyd thought.
"Oh
Rapyd," Vegeta mumbled in his sleep, drooling. Rapyd rolled her eyes.
"Never
mind," she said, rolling back over and going back to sleep.
Vegeta's eyes snapped open as he sat up.
"I should have
slept on the couch," Vegeta mumbled, rubbing his back.
"Then
again...," he thought, looking at Rapyd. He sat there, watching the
sunlight dance across her face. He sighed, then shook his head.
"What am I
doing?" Vegeta thought. "She's just my friend, nothing more. She
doesn't care about me, anyway." Rapyd's eyes fluttered open as she looked
over at Vegeta.
"H-hi
Vegeta," Rapyd said, blushing.
"Hey,"
replied Vegeta. "You want to go get some breakfast?"
"Sure!"
Rapyd said, jumping out of bed and landing next to Vegeta. They walked
downstairs together into the kitchen.
"Well look
who's decided to grace us with your presence,'' Vegeta-sama said sarcastically.
Vegeta-chan stuck out his tongue.
"I really don't
need to deal with this today," Ryver said.
"So what's
there to eat?" Rapyd said, walking over to Ryver. The two Vegeta's kept
arguing.
"Well...I can
make meatloaf...but I guess you don't want that for breakfast. Here. Have some
Frosted Flakes." Ryver said, handing Rapyd a bowl, spoon, and a box of
Frosted Flakes.
"Thanks,"
Rapyd replied, taking the stuff from Ryver and sitting down at the table where
the two Vegetas were still standing around arguing. Rapyd poured a bowl of
cereal and started eating.
"Well I'm older
than you!" Vegeta-sama said.
"Yeah, well
technically we're the same age!" Vegeta-chan shot back.
"Well I look
older than you!" argued Vegeta-sama. Rapyd sighed and shook her head.
"Am I gonna
have to put up with this for the rest of my life?" Rapyd mumbled.
Next Door...
Rayne slept soundly in her bed. What she didn't notice was the black figure drawing closer to her bed. She didn't have time to react as the black creature covered her body. The figure walked downstairs and through the front door. It turned to look over at the house next door. The figure hesitated, then disappeared.
