I rolled my eyes as my feet
dragged on the carpet. “What a life” I sarcastically told the court as the
doors closed on me.
They shoved me onto a flat
escalator-type thing and shoved me towards a lab-type place deep in the center
of the building. “King Vegeta asks that the woman be put in with prince Vegeta
and destroyed” said one of the guards. “WHAT!? PRINCE!? KILLING ME!? I
don’t THINK so!” I struggled, but was hit so hard in the back, that the wind
was knocked out of me. I sank to the floor as the guards turned me loose- only
to have my bruised body shoved in a pitch-black room with stillness that scared
me. I heard the crackle of a wheezy laugh, and my ears and tail swerved for its
direction- my eyes were so weary I tried to stand strong, even though I’d only
been there for 30 minutes. Then I saw the lights flicker on, and my opponent
was revealed…
“Y-Y-You” I stuttered,
trying to get to my feet from my scraped knees. His eyes glowed with a fury
dusted in silver. His hair stood on end like his father’s, but was jet-black
like the night sky. For such a stout-looking man, he seemed evil and
over-powered with pride. I stood and glared at him with anger burning in my
fiery eyes. I noticed the creaks and crackles of echoes in the front and back
of me. I stared at him, still- not saying a word between my clenched teeth. He
crossed his arms and snickered evilly. “Welcome” he smirked, as if in sly
sarcasm. I squinted back at him, my tail smacking the floor. “What luck- to be
a woman before you die” he sighed evilly. I tried to slap him with a swipe of
my hand at the dimmed Saiyan in the light. He gripped my scraped arm in between
his tight fingers and forced it back towards me with a snort and a brief twist
of his muscles. “Don’t seem like much of a prince to me” I snarled, turning my back on him and crossing my arms- my tail
thumped the ground until I felt a chill run up my spine. I tried to turn, but
was paralyzed, and frigid to move. I tweaked my head around my shoulder to see
that obnoxious Saiyan prince with a grip on my tail- pulling me back. “Let- go-
of me!” I struggled to tug away, but my tail was indefinitely my weak point. I
tried to move it so that it would smack him, but I hadn’t the power to do so.
He grunted wheezily and set me free, launching me into the darkness where a
sudden ear-piercing shrill was heard right beside me. I jumped back, and when
the lights flickered on a thousand green, big- headed screaming Martian- sprout
heads started to circle around me with leaps every which way. “GAGH!!!” I cried-
seeing a minuscule portion of the no good- Saiyan Prince in the back. One of
them grabbed my tail while the others circled around me, or tried ripping my
flesh off my bones. I squinted, trying to remember what I had been told before
I’d left- everything that had happened to make me come on this horrid trip. My
eyes shot open, and I began to power up in a glow of fiery white Ki. “Take-
THIIIS!!” I yelled, launching an energy blast in front of me from the tips of
my charred fingers. It hit the aliens, frying them and singing their green-ish
flesh to bits. I turned behind me and launched another, killing off all the
ones behind me. The ones that bit into my flesh, suckling on my blood drove me
to complete insanity that made my dragon blood pump faster to my weakened
heart. I felt a dragon-like screech soar through my mouth and scare them off-
my claws forming and gouging their throats and eyes out. By the time their
monotonous screeching had ceased, and my horrendous dragon-yelling had stopped,
there was silence- and the shadow of the Saiyan prince-like figure died when he
entered the circular light around my scorched body. He looked at me as though
that wasn’t supposed to happen. I panted and growled low under my breath at
him. “I’m getting the feeling I should hate all royalty” I snarled, brushing
loose locks of hair out of my face. He seemed so embarrassed and defeated- as
if I’d turned him into a fool. He stood up to me, and grabbed my collar-
hoisting me up into the air as much as he could. “That was only your practice
run” he smirked, curling his nose and smirking at me. “Who- are you?” I
squinted back. “Prince Vegeta, to the Saiyans- the last thing you’ll ever see,
to you” he smirked, and turned me loose on the floor. “WHAT!?” I howled back.
He tightened the rubbery gloves around his hands. “Why, didn’t my father
explain? I’m going to kill you! Is that clear?” he smirked with an evil
look from his shoulder, towards me. “I don’t THINK so!” I writhed, and stood-
my tail smacked up against one of the charred corpses on the cracked floor.
“They were too easy- I’ve been killing them off ever since I was a young child”
he smirked, starting to close in on me. “Oh, what a hobby” I rolled my eyes.
“You really are an intriguing, alias woman! Too bad I have to kill you” he
arched a brow as he stuck his face close to mine. I tried to shove him away
from me, but he was just too over-powered.
I felt the heat of a Ki
blast sprouting from his rubbery-Saiyan gloves. I moved away from him and
stood, as if I had a chance to block it with my bare fist. I tried, but it hit
me so hard, I fell to my knees and started to spit up blood. He still stood,
readying another. I stood after my blood was drained from my lips and frowned
at him wearily as I began to feel weak. He fired again and I screamed out in
pain- a scream that rounded the room and died when it reached my ringing ears.
Again and again, he hit me- my screams weakening with every blow. He stopped
firing and I stood weakly on my bloody knees- my eyes full of torment but persistence.
I frowned, and took what energy I had left to power up- yelling loudly so that
the shatter of glass was heard all the way down where we fought. I felt scales
rip at my clothes and tear at my bruised body. Talon-like claws and sharp fangs
protruded while my size grew, and my wings flapped at the ceiling. My muzzle
grew and my tail smacked towards shadows behind me. I felt the weight of he
ceiling burst open as my neck wormed up and back down towards my enemy. My
bloodshed red eyes glared at him with such anger and spite- I let out a
horrendous dragon-type roar at him and bore my teeth at the small Saiyan
prince.
He started to back away-
regretting he hadn’t tried ridding of my tail; it wouldn’t have worked anyway.
I pressed my muzzle down towards his stiff body and sniffed him out, a low
rumble squeezed up through my throat. “TAKE THIS!” he yelled, and blinded me
with a KI blast in between my eyes. I felt my wings back furiously and my tail
smack up against the wall in pain as I fell back- my talons scraping the
charred tiles underfoot. He walked towards me and smirked evilly- laughing at
me. I felt my energy start to die, and I felt so weak- my eyes opened juts a
bit, to see him standing over me in the shadow of the dimmed lights with a
terribly evil smirk slapped on his face.
“Vegeta!” Hn? Father?” “Vegeta,
if you cannot rid of her, then bring her to me” I heard the king snuff over an
intercom. “But”- “GREAT mother of Saiyans!” I heard a gasp. “She’s a- a-
MONSTER!” “Yeah well- it kinda happens, when you have a TAIL Father!” I heard
the argument commence. “Just- get her up here somehow!” I heard, and then there
was silence. The prince snorted and glared back down at me. “You were lucky
THIS time” he panted, and blasted me for the last time.
When I awoke, my eyes
twitched to the feel of cool water running over my eyelids. I rabidly searched
about, trying to find where I was in shock. There was a breathing mask
plastered over my nose and mouth so I couldn’t scream out when I saw the
doctors gape at me. My arms flailed in the heavy water as I tried to burst out
of the tank and pull the wires that were pressed and put into my bruised body-
at least my wounds felt better. I frowned, my glare piercing the tension and
burning at the figures in front of the glass. The prince stood- smirking at me
with evil glassed in his eyes. I stared back- pressing my fists against the
glass and pounding as hard as I could. A doctor banished him from my sight
before he could shoot me another glare. I turned away and closed my eyes
tightly in anger- as soon as I got out of there, something had to be done about
him.
I was let out a few days
after that horrid experience and put in front of the King and his son to decide
what would be done with me.
“Why did you do that!?” I
questioned loudly. The king folded his hands and smiled at me- almost like a
smirk. “You have beaten my son’s Saibamen, AND have successfully made it past
my son himself! Your transformation is extraordinary! Not even Saiyans can achieve such with just
anger. I must say, I was quite amazed to see you still alive”- “But I CAME here
to avenge the death of my FIANCE! I didn’t come here to AMUSE you, King
Vegeta!” I snarled, and rose to my feet. The guards did not force me down again
this time. “I understand- but people like yourself should not exist! People
like you are a mistake! But I find your spite and your Saiyan blood is so clear
in battle- and that is why I have made a firm decision” I snarled and turned my
head down to my chest. “ You- shall live” he bellowed down to me. I picked my
head up and searched his features. “I should be grateful- but I never asked to
live. I only asked for revenge. People like me don’t deserve to die, and people
like me aren’t mistakes! If they are
a mistake, then so am I!” I turned
away from him and walked out of the palace. There was silence as I passed
through, with the flowing cape-like towel draped over my shoulders. I shoved
the doors open, and just as I turned to walk out of the court, I was stopped
cold with a rubbery hand on my shoulder. I looked up from my bushy bangs and
saw Prince Vegeta. “What do YOU want?” I snarled, and tried tossing him out of
my way. “Why do you still live, woman?” he blinked with the expression that I
shouldn’t be in front of him. I shied away and turned my shoulder on him. He
pulled the towel off my shoulders and my open wounds turned dead-cold. I turned
towards him and gaped with my mouth open. “You’re so obnoxious- my father
should’ve killed you while he still grasped you- all you ever do is complain
and make people feel sorry for the dear old mutant princess!” he crossed his
arms and frowned at me, throwing the towel down at his Saiyan boots. “Maybe he
should’ve- but he only saw what I fight like, and that’s not what you see” I
turned quietly and left. “Don’t be such a Drama Queen!” he snorted, his wheezy
voice echoed in my cold ears as I left the palace- on foot in a hurry…
I turned when the echo
stopped and calmly re-entered with a look of absolute blankness on my face. I
peered at Prince Vegeta, and stared at him a bit- thinking long and hard with
such an expression of concentration. He frowned and growled at me. “Hello!?
What is so interesting, mutant queen!? You are such a spaced out know-it all!”
he rolled his eyes as he came close towards me. I blinked and snarled at him,
my tail taking a smack at the floor. “I am NOT a Drama Queen, or a MUTANT! And
I am DEFINITELY NOT OBNOXIOUS!! I yelled, practically in his ear. He stopped me
short of my echo and clamped my mouth shut. “This ISN’T your home! You best keep your tone with me, or I can be just
as princely as you can be snotty” he snarled a whisper to my face. I pried
his hands off my mouth and shoved him away from me. “You’ll give the whole
universe a bad impression if you try and kill a visitor!” I raised my own voice
with a writhing snarl. “Well- this isn’t a ‘hotel planet’- like my father said.
So who am I giving a bad impression?” he smirked and crossed his arms at me.
“UGH! You are such a PAIN!” I turned my back to stomp away- but stayed put. He
snorted, leaning against one of the doors- I was surprised he still stayed
there. “What were you doing in the rejuvenation ward, anyway!? Looking at me in
my underwear! What a pervert!” I snorted. He smirked widely and laughed
evil-heartedly. “Can’t I take a look at the amazing mutant woman that still
lives to see day while in my presence?” he laughed. I turned and snarled,
gritting my teeth loudly at him. “Honestly, no” I coughed- intentionally to
myself. He snorted, still smirking. “What a stuck up brat you are- as if you
can just come to my planet and say it isn’t good enough!” he sighed and
chuckled lightly. “Well, why do you think my father sent those henchman to kill
all you mutants? Because you’re ugly? No! BECAUSE you are such-such half and
half, you’ve basically said that the Saiyans aren’t good enough for you!” he
snorted in a prince-like manner again, as if he wasn’t even talking to me
anymore. I whipped around and glared at him. “What makes you say such a thing!?
I have respect for you people!” “Why?” he questioned me quickly. He started at
me, and soon I could feel his icy cold shadow pour down my spine and the smell
of ash and smoke choke the smells all around me except for his. “Why do you
have respect for my people? Because your mother
was a Saiyan? Hn?” he started to say into my ear, a slippery-gloved hand
unraveling the bandanna on the other side of my face. I stood still, my tail
snaking around my ankles.
“Because your fiancé’s father was a Saiyan? Because we have a bond with your people?” his wheezy voice
snaked into my ear. I could feel my hazelnut-brown hair fall over my shoulders
as he spoke in one ear, and Tenchi’s bandanna was released on the other. His
cold Saiyan armor touched the bare skin on the back of my neck as he closed in
on me tightly and fell away the next minute. “Saiyans know when one of their kind leaves this planet- they can sense when
people like that betray them- and my father knows that exact feeling” it almost seemed as if his lips touched my
fleshy ears- his voice was so close. I turned to the prince and stared at him
with my mouth wide open. “Only a snobby prince would ask so many questions” I
sighed softly, pressing my lips up against his own.
It was silent in the
courtyard- silence I wasn’t aware of yet. My eyes were closed so tight, it was
as if I was trying to forget what was REALLY in front of me, and put what I
wanted there instead. It was Tenchi I
wanted to kiss so badly, and when my memory lead to the opening of my eyes, the
only man I saw was Prince Vegeta. There was no way out now! Prince Vegeta was
indefinitely a good kisser, but did I really want him to open his mouth again?
I knew now that he was very snobby and cold-hearted with such spite and
evilness in everything that he did. I began to have a change of heart, and when
I realized how much my love for Tenchi was sinking, I knew something was
terribly wrong, and tears started to roll down my face. I pulled away with a
tweak of my lips against Prince Vegeta’s and turned my shivering shoulders.
Tenchi’s bandanna fell out of Prince Vegeta’s hand as he stood, dumbstruck,
from what I could tell. His eyes were wide, as if he’d never experienced or
felt anything like that before. “Th-that wasn’t supposed to happen!” he burst
out in some sort of anger mixed with utter shock. I cried harder when he
responded in such a way. He crept up behind me and took me by my shoulders,
forcing me to look at him with his crinkled nose and his angry eyes. “What did
you do that for, huh!? HUH!? WHY!?” he yelled. I cried harder when he yelled at
me. I pounded a fist on the chest of his Saiyan armor- my tears rolling and
drizzling down my reddened face. He stopped yelling and tried to make me look
at him. “What’s wrong with you?” he tried to say calmly- but his voice was just
too angry to sound serene. I felt a single tear drop onto one of his leathery
gloved fingers. I looked up, gaping at him with an open mouth. “T-T-Tenchi!
Tenchi would never want me to kiss another man- especially a SAIYAN Prince!
Tenchi would never forgive me if I”- “Who CARES about this guy! He’s DEAD! How
do you matter when you’re dead!?” he cocked an angry brow at me. “I-I-I loved
him, you know! If it wasn’t for him dying on me, I would’ve married him!” I
twisted a brow at him and glared at him through murky eyes. Prince Vegeta
rolled his eyes, still gripping my shoulders harder. “Love-love-love. What in
the name of Super Saiyan’s is LOVE!?” he yelled. I was angered and glared even
harder at him. “Love is when you care so much about someone, you could KISS
them!” I seemingly yelled back. He stopped being so cocky with me and started
to realize what love was- in a short summary. “B-B-But I don’t love YOU! That-
that just happened!” he tried to turn away. “Right” I bowed my head, while he
STILL gripped my shoulders.
Almost as if a coincidence, I looked at him and he “glared” back- and that’s when it happened again. We locked lips with each other, and I had the feeling maybe it wasn’t just an accident. This time, I knew who I really WAS kissing, and I couldn’t say I was too happy with it, but it was enough to woo me into thinking I was starting to like Prince Vegeta! There was a creak behind us, and the hairs on my neck started to prick up on end. Prince Vegeta didn’t look behind him- he had his eyes closed. There was a sudden gasp, and an uproar of talk. “Mmm- HMM!” I tried to grab Prince Vegeta’s attention while my lips were busy. He opened his eyes rabidly and grunted back at me. I tried to point, but the pressure of his hands on my shoulders was too overcoming for the wooing moment.
