Chapter Six

Rapyd looked around, the Dimension Key
Staff in her right hand.
"Where am
I?" Rapyd wondered. People were rushing around her. She looked at a
giant sign that had a person holding a green bottle on it and another one with
a family of smiling people on it.
"How can this place be the center of
every Dimension?" Rapyd thought. "I'm going home."
"Dimension Key power! Create a portal back home!"
shouted Rapyd. A portal formed in front of her. The people around her stopped
and stared. Rapyd walked into the portal and was transported home.
"Pweew!"
Rapyd gasped when she was home. Seikai stood in front of her daughter.
"What
am I suppose to do with the Key and Staff when I'm not using them?" asked
Rapyd.
"Recall
them," Seikai said.
"Dimension Key recall!" shouted Rapyd. The Dimension Key and Staff
disappeared into Rapyd's body.
"So
if I need them again I just call them out again, right?" said Rapyd.
"Right.
You're learning quick," Seikai complimented. "That's all the training
for today, okay?"
"Okay.
Thanks mom. I'm going to go find Vegeta," Rapyd said, walking out the
door. She walked through the palace until she reached the royal chambers. She
looked all through the chambers, but she couldn't find Vegeta anywhere.
"Maybe he's out training," Rapyd
thought. She saw King Vegeta ahead in the hallway. She ran up to him.
"If
you're looking for Vegeta, he's not here," the King said.
"Where
is he?" asked Rapyd.
"He
left this morning to go conquer another planet," said King Vegeta.
"When
will he be back?" Rapyd questioned.
"In
a few months. Now if you excuse me, I have business to attend to," King
Vegeta said sternly, walking past Rapyd. Rapyd ran back to her home. She was
crushed.
"I can't believe he just left, without
even saying goodbye," Rapyd thought. She suddenly stopped.
"He hasn't gone anywhere. I can still
feel his Ki," thought Rapyd. She ran back to the Royal Chambers and
stopped at Vegeta's room. Rapyd put her hand on the identification system by
Vegeta's door. He had set it to allow Rapyd in his room. The door swished open
and closed behind Rapyd. There Vegeta was, lying in his bed beaten and bloody.
"V-Vegeta!
I thought you left to go conquer a planet!" Rapyd said, surprised.
"Is
that the lie my father told you?" Vegeta said painfully. Rapyd nodded.
"What
happened to you?" Rapyd asked.
"Oh,
my father beat me," Vegeta said, like it wasn't anything.
"Why?"
inquired Rapyd. Vegeta looked down at his covers.
"Well,
because I told him what we did last night and he said 'Saiyans don't love! I'll
find you a queen when the time comes!' and then he beat me," explained
Vegeta.
"But
you're much stronger than you're dad! How come you didn't just beat him
up?" said Rapyd.
"Well
if I had he probably would have gone after you, and I didn't want anything to
happen to you," said Vegeta.
"Oh,"
Rapyd said, then walked over beside Vegeta's bed and sat down on the side.
Vegeta rolled over on his side to see Rapyd.
"Vegeta,
heal quickly," she said, stroking his face.
"Hmm,"he
said, putting his hand on Rapyd's leg. Rapyd held his hand with her other hand. Suddenly the door swished open and an
angry King Vegeta stormed in.
"Rapyd!
What are you doing in here?! And why are you fondling him like that?!"
King Vegeta asked rather loudly.
"I'm
in here to comfort my friend. And I'm 'fondling' him because I love him,"
Rapyd said coldly.
"Rrrrr...OUT!!!
I'm banishing you and your mother out of my palace forever! GO!" King
Vegeta yelled. Rapyd let go of Vegeta and ran out of the room tears running
down her face.
"No no no! This can't be happening!
Just when I was beginning to love Vegeta," Rapyd thought. Rapyd ran
and ran until she reached her home. She ran in, crying. Her mother stood up
from the chair she was sitting in.
"What's
wrong?" Seikai asked.
"W-we've
been banished from the palace," Rapyd stammered. Seikai sat down.
"How
did this happen?" Seikai said, uncertain that this could be true. Rapyd
told her everything that had happened. When Rapyd was finished, Seikai rocked
back in her chair in shock.
"We'd better get our stuff, then," said Seikai.
Rapyd nodded slowly and ran into her room.
"How could you do this to me?!" Vegeta
protested in between tears.
"Would you rather have me execute her instead?"
King Vegeta said coldly.
"No," Vegeta murmured. "But why do you have
to banish them? She didn't do anything," said Vegeta.
"Yes, she did. She was cuddling you. I told you that
I would find you a proper queen when the time," King Vegeta said.
"Maybe I liked her 'cuddling' me," Vegeta
countered.
"That's enough!
They're leaving and thats that! Just forget she ever existed!" King Vegeta
yelled as he stormed out of Vegeta's room.
"How can you forget someone you love?"
Vegeta whispered.
"Farewell, my prince," Rapyd said, taking
one last look at the palace. She and her mother had taken everything they could
carry and left the rest back at the palace.
"Come on, Rapyd," Seikai said, flying in the
air.
"Okay," Rapyd said sadly, flying after her
mother.
Vegeta stood on the roof of the palace, watching Rapyd and her mother
fly away in the distance.
